Figured I could share some pics of cars land with the Florida MW's ... Here you go !!
Nice collage - skcanfield  468.1 #12 4:00PM
Cool! In just over a month I will get to experience Cars Land for the first time in person! - CollegeDisneyKnowledgeGrad  809.4 #3 5:02PM
Have tons of fun!! When will you be there?? - brodysmommy  328.3 #652 5:16PM
April 7-9! The last time we were there was Oct 2011, pre-Cars Land! - CollegeDisneyKnowledgeGrad  809.4 #3 5:45PM
Oh nice!! We go back the end of April! You'll love the new land!! - brodysmommy  328.3 #652 6:43PM
Mid May for me. Bittersweet, it will be our last trip before our APs expire :( - timonT  250.9 #26 9:13PM
My pass doesn't expire until sept but not sure if we will be back again before then :( hoping so but don't like going during the busy summer time! - brodysmommy  328.3 #652 9:27PM
Anyone who has parked at our MK will tell you that the parking lot is the real Carsland. ...joking aside. If you are staying at a DL hotel, do early entry and don't bother on a fastpass. You'll be on te ride in about ten minutes. - IndyandMarion  1236.9 #1 6:08AM
As the ride breaks down constantly, get a fastpass for a nite ride and queue up for a scenic daylight ride so you can experience it both day and night - bubbaschoice  53.9 #87 1:24AM

Hey all Floridian MW's ... I am in the process of planning a first time trip with m family to the east coast parks. I was curious if you guys could help pick a month that has decent low crowd volume and decent warm weather.... And if anyone had an extra park map of each park that would be most helpful in my planning. I would pay for postage. Thanks in advance
Welcome to the Florida side😃 Really any month is warm and ill let someone else help with the crowds. We go in jan usually beautiful weather and not crowed. - Schramke  411.1 #15 12:20AM
I'm from WA and I love the weather in October. Temps are still in the low-mid 80's, but most importantly, the humidity has died down! Welcome to the FLip side! - CollegeDisneyKnowledgeGrad  809.4 #3 4:41AM
Thanks everyone for all the great tips ... I was already leaning towards September and it sounds like I need to shoot more towards the end of the month now. - EdLovesAlvena  252.3 #1183 4:18PM
I've been in Sep, and being from the Pacific NW, I had a REALLY hard time with the humidity. - CollegeDisneyKnowledgeGrad  809.4 #3 7:03PM
Another question I have now ... Even though I feel guilty posting it in MW .... Do the Disney resort hotels offer shuttles to the universal parks? If not how do you get there ? Rent a car ? - EdLovesAlvena  252.3 #1183 4:22PM
No they don't. There are several options, mears bus, taxi or car rental. I believe a car rental is your best economical choice. You can rent a car at the car car center or at the Dolphin hotel. Depending on the time of year it can range in price from 20-60 dollars a day. - mzdisnee  438.6 #14 4:52PM
I paid to take a MEARS shuttle one time. Can't remember how much it was. Picked us up at the hotel. Hope this helps! - DisneyLisa78  41.1 #103 4:55PM
We have rented a car in the past but the past few years we used a taxi service. We go with 8-10 people and a passenger van comes to get us ( round trip with tip is about 90.00). We do that twice and it is still cheaper than renting a van. If there is only a couple of you going there is mears and the hotel desk can call and book that for you. I think it might be a little cheaper than the taxi. - mmddgp  377.8 #18 5:02PM
I would recommend renting a car or taking a taxi. The Mears shuttle makes multiple stops and can eat up a lot of your time in the parks. - CollegeDisneyKnowledgeGrad  809.4 #3 7:04PM

How long should a couple of Disney fanatics plan on visiting WDW for a first trip ... And what are some must see and do's.... We go to Disneyland every year and some day we plan on making the trip to the East coast parks.
Welcome! First of all, you need at least a full week at WDW. I'm a big fan of hopper passes, so you can make the most of every moment. Since you're DL regulars, concentrate your time on the things unique to WDW. Don't forget to make time to resort hop too! - CollegeDisneyKnowledgeGrad  809.4 #3 10:25PM
Thanks for the tips - EdLovesAlvena  252.3 #1183 10:55PM
And I love your profile pic ... It looks just like our silver lab Bella that we had to get rid of. She has a good home in Washington now. - EdLovesAlvena  252.3 #1183 11:02PM
Thank you! That's Poi, my Weimaraner. We also live in WA! - CollegeDisneyKnowledgeGrad  809.4 #3 8:34AM
My kids first trip we went for 9 days. We felt it wasn't enough but we were there for star wars weekend. We didn't get to the water parks, DTD, or the boardwalk. If you go off season with no big events happening, I think 8 days would be good. - Disneyaddict  340.6 #604 11:29PM
You need about 5 days to do everything unique to WDW. Resort hopping is fun and all, but since it's your first trip then I recommend skipping that. Also, if you come before March, be sure to see Main Street Electrical Parade. Wishes, Festival of The Lion King, and Lights Motors Action are also must-see's. Skip Fantasmic! if you can, DL's is far better. If you have any questions, feel free to DM me on the DL app. - dlmickeymouseCM  2404.0 #44 10:57AM
Thanks all for the good tips .... My wife and I are planning a late hunny moon to Disneyland in May2013.... I'm tryin to see if I could make a WDW trip happen instead and surprise her.... Is May a good time to visit? - EdLovesAlvena  252.3 #1183 3:02PM
I've never been in May, but I would to try it! That is during the Epcot Flower and Garden Festival! - CollegeDisneyKnowledgeGrad  809.4 #3 5:20PM
May is a great time! The flower and garden festival is going on in Epcot, it's really nice out and the crowds aren't super bad, also if you go in late may there is star wars weekends - nodell111  166.4 #44 5:33PM
May is a great time! Just make sure u miss any kind of leftover spring break crowds..should be fine tho. Not too crowded and not too hot - mickeynme  151.0 #50 6:33PM
