RAK for a limited edition Star Wars pin from the 2011 WDW Star Wars weekend. We stood in line for over 2 hours to buy this and it was limited to either 500 or 1000. I will choose someone at random on Tuesday night about 9 pm.:)

We went to the Harry Potter park and we had a great time. The atmosphere was very much as you would imagine. The main attraction was so impressive that both my SIL and I came off saying we liked it better than Star Tours. However, there were only two more attractions- a small coaster and a large intense coaster, both sort of HP themed. The lunch place was great and had British style food. I'm glad we went, but not so happy about the few rides. Anyone else been? I hope this goes in the Hub.
When I go, I want at least one day at universal to visit the Wizarding World of Harry Potter. I don't even care about the rides...it's all about Harry Potter and Hogwarts for me. ๎ did you get any nice merchandise? - veronica619

I bought 3 small things. Everyone was buying wands, but they cost from $39 to $89. The whole area felt very much like HP's world- it must have cost a fortune to create. The one thing we both missed was that there really wasn't anything with Snape. It seemed like most of the other main characters were represented somewhere, but not Snape. It was definately worth doing, if you are a HP fan like we are. - ally

We got a ticket, later on there was a comedy audition and they office was auditioning and remembered us and let everyone know we were on parole. They are so funny. I loved the lil things they did down the main street - TinkTinkTink

Port Orleans Riverside live. Getting ready for the day. Last night, we ate at Rose and Crown and got to sit outside for Illiminations.
I keep marking the spot for my AT and T service. There are several of us in the courtyard using our phones due to no reception in the rooms. I told them about mark the spot.;)

Today, we are going to Harry Potter. The parks are absolutely packed, by all accounts. We again had a problem last night, which resulted in Disney arranging and paying for a huge dinner, bottle of wine, etc free at Portabello's for us. To make a long story short, my nephew and sister-in-law bought over $800 of the SW merchandise that first morning, much of it limited to less than 1000. They sent it back to our resort. When we got it, all the limited Ed. Items were missing. They are trying to find the items or replace them somehow. So during this time spent with management, we missed our dinner and the movie POtC. The manager at our hotel was wonderful. We are going to find a good way to thank her! I'll post more when we find out what will happen. We have never had any trouble like this before, so it's great to see how Disney handles customer service.

On my families 1st trip to WDW we stayed at one of the all-star hotels. A similar situation occurred with a pair of earrings. Without hesitation the hotel staff replaced the item. I believe disneys staff is the best in the world. To me they are a huge part of the Disney magic. Sorry to hear about your situation but glad to hear it was taken care of and you got the SW mecrchandise back. Enjoy the rest of your trip. - AgentP

From inside Dinosaur yesterday. Today we slept in and we are going to go with my brother to look for antiques. (I look for vintage Disney items.) We had two days of getting up at 4:30 am and staying up to midnight, so we were exhausted. When we get back, we may go in one of the parks tonight.

I'm going to be politically correct and call it New York Street. Streets of America is what it's called now. But it was never completed during a rehab so it doesn't make since to call it SoA. It's like calling it The Haunted Mansion without the ghosts. - IndyandMarion

An easter egg became a term used when finding hidden things in video games, movies, rides that are nods to other things. (example: The dead captain sitting in bed in the Captain's Quarters area of DL's POTC can be seen in On Stranger Tides) In this case, Joe Rhode is on a list in the museum of people who worked to create the museum. - IndyandMarion
