Question: We have PS for two character meals and I had to give my credit card #. It says it will charge me if we fail to show up. Does anyone know how far ahead you would have to cancel to not be charged? I don't anticipate missing them, but would like to know. We are trying Tusker House and the Norway princess meal. Thanks!
I know with the tomorrowland terrace deser party we have people call a day before I would assume it is the same everywhere after 24 hrs tho you will probably get charged - cooldisgrl_CM

I happened to run across this pic from 1985. It's my daughter's first trip to DL ( she's got the cat shirt on). As you can see, she's really into it. This was taken at the Carnation Cafe. This is the same daughter who I will be driving 5 grandchildren (her kids) with to WDW this fall. :) we can't wait! Has anyone ever changed resorts in the middle of a stay? Is it a pain in the neck? Or worth it?
We do it every trip. We start if at a value resort and the we go to AKL. You pack you stuff and go about your day. Go to your next hotel and your belongs will be there to greet you. Magic - 5disneylovers

We went from riverside to French quarter last trip with no problem. Took our luggage to bell surface and took a cab over to the new resort did a new check in and went to the parks. When we got back we just called bell services and they brought theluggage right up! - girlonfire

I guess I missed retro day, but this is one of my favorite photos at Disneyland about 20 years ago. They hadn't been having Magic Mornings for long and so not as many went in early. We went to Toon Town and for the first 45 minutes there was no one else back there but us. This is my nephew. We had the characters all to ourselves. I'll never forget it.😊

Something interesting happened this last trip at DL. I was looking to replace a square Mickey watch that couldn't be fixed and unfortunately left it at home. I told the watch shop (the old one) on Main Street about the one I was trying to replace and why. They said if I brought it in, no matter if there was no receipt, or how old it was, I could leave it and see if they could fix it. If they couldn't, they would give me a new one. I bought one, but they said when I come back, to bring it and let them try and fix it. It just has to say Disney Parks or Disneyland on it. This seems so incredible to me, but I am going to try next time.

Our last attraction, the Tiki Room. For once, the dole whips sounded awful! We came prepared for highs of 68-70 degrees (which were the predictions). So we only had T's and light jackets. We were so cold in the mornings and evenings! I broke down and bought some gloves. We wore a couple of shirts, extra socks and tried our best to stay warm. This is why dole whips didn't sound good. However, I spent lots of time in the Disney Starbucks with hot coffee. It was usually in the high 30's when we went out in the mornings and in the low 40's once it was dark. Next January, I will bring my cold weather gear!

That happened to us a few years ago when we went in dec. it was in the low 20s but when we called to verify our reservations the lady on the phone told us to bring warm stuff! We brought our coats and still froze! It was colder there then it was in Seattle wa!! I'm sorry you guys were freezing. :( - disneyworldsbiggestfan

Sorry it was so cold for your trip. I've been wearing two pairs of socks, gloves, hat, scarf and a pair of 'skins' under my jeans and I was still cold. This is not typical - especially for several days. Hope you still had fun! - goofygal
