Thank you, Magical Family and Schramke for the lovely Christmas cards! I probably can't get any out till next week when I'm off. I have two parties to cook for this week. I πππthe cards and thought behind them!
Please add me, my favorite has to be Mickey.π
Thank you so much, theDad and AZcupcake! I love my cards. It's so fun to get MW mail!
I also received my Secret Santa gift today and am so happy! I won't open it until Christmas and I won't tell who it is yet. Thanks, Secret Santa!
Look what I received from Magical Creations by MzDisnee! I ordered some shirts for gifts and received this as a total surprise! I love Lady and the Tramp and I have a siamese cat, so it's perfect! Thank you so much, Jennifer!
Caryn, thank you so much for the beautiful card! It's breathtaking! I wish I was there, too!
Not Disney, but today is my 30th anniversary on my job. π it's hard to believe. π
One if my favorite Photopass photos. It's hard to get pics with all 5 looking the same direction and smiling, but they did it! π
Great costume! What did Cheshire Princess dress like?
I'm going to Kansas City tomorrow to see my son's family and my grandson. I have lots of WDW gifts for him. He's only 2 and they want to wait a little until they take him. I can't wait!
Mrs. I, you are such a day brightener! Thanks so much for thinking of me. I especially enjoy the stamp!
This was a night shot I took from our boat to Downtown Disney our first night. I thought Ballooney looked so mysterious. πI've been saving it for Indy.
Look what I got for Bosses' Day! I guess after 25 years together, they know me well!
Thank you, Mrs. I! Hope you had a fantastic time.ππ
These are some of the Disney figures I collect. Most I get from antique stores nowadays.
Congrats, Horseytink, on your Number One spot above! Go HT!
We got home last night after the 1380 mile drive home. Some things I learned from our trip with 5 grandchildren ages 2 to 10: The drive wasn't as bad as I imagined and in some ways easier than airplanes and renting a huge van. Driving the van to the parks was usually much faster than using the buses. With 5 children, it's absolutely wonderful, but also hard to plan a schedule, or to be at a certain place at a certain time, therefore not all our Fastpass Pluses were used. The magic bands were fabulous! Even the 2 year old kept his on all day. The Food and Wine festival is probably not great for children on a weekend, due to lots of adult behavior and language. (But I do want to go sometime with adults!) And last, there is nothing as touching as seeing WDW through children's eyes and how happy they are over every little thing!
We really enjoyed the singers in the American Pavillion yesterday.
We ate at the Biergarten for lunch and for dinner and missed Michael both times.π₯ After the first time, I asked when he worked, but they said they can't give out schedules. This was a big disappointment, but we enjoyed the meals. I wondered after Indy posted about not asking for Marion, if they don't like guests asking for specific cast members.
Opening ceremony yesterday.π
