Hi Everyone! My family (husband, son-9, and daughter- 7) are at DL hotel for my daughter's birthday. We've been a few times, and i booked a standard view room for the weekend. So I check in today, and the guest services guy says, "we've upgraded you, so I'm going to walk you to your room. He walks us to Adventure Tower, top floor. They upgraded us to the Big Thunder suite! This place is amazing! I  More...

Hi everyone! Has anyone used the dining plan at Via Napoli? I noticed the menu is different sized pizzas, not just entrees. What size pizza for a credit? We will be a party of 2 adults and 2 kids. TIA!
Do you know that even if you purchase the 'kids meal' or however it's worded, they don't keep track of how many adult meals you have and kids meals? We found this out during our last trip. So then we stopped worrying about always ordering kids meals and just ordering what we wanted. Just didn't know if you knew this  - brodysmommy  402.1 #510 8:16PM
Yes- we noticed that with quick service meals! Sometimes we can order 3 regular meals, but sometimes the kids each want something different and then we do 4 meals. - DisneyCREWmom  73.5 #3871 8:29PM
I believe it's the individual pizza which can be shared by two. Β That way the other person in your party can order something different that you can also share. - Pooh147856  253.4 #28 8:29PM
Thanks! - DisneyCREWmom  73.5 #3871 8:30PM

Hi Everyone! Our WDW trip is 168 days away and I have a dilemma! We (hubby and 2 kids- 9 and 7) usually stay at POFQ and love it! However, I'd like to try a different resort. I'm thinking the family suites at AoA. Does anyone have any feedback? POFQ or AoA? TIA!
im going to POFQ in June and my brother and his family are staying at AoA suites when we are there.  We decided against AoA because we didn't need a suite for 4 people and the standard rooms building was so far from buses, food court etc. we really like riverside when we stayed there last time so decided to try french quarter this time.  Hubby likes being able to take the boat to DTD.   - txdisneymomma  93.0 #71 2:56PM
POFQ is absolutely gorgeous! You will love it!  - DisneyCREWmom  73.5 #3871 9:27PM
I can't wait!! We got a pool view room.  Seemed like those should be close to boat, buses and main building. - txdisneymomma  93.0 #71 12:11PM
Yes- you will be close to everything. 5 minute walk to food court and bus stop. The boat to DTD is awesome! - DisneyCREWmom  73.5 #3871 12:56PM
The boat is the reason my husband wanted to stay at one of the Port Orleans resorts again. Lol.  We decided to try FQ this time since was smaller property and we could be closer to everything there.  We were in very back at Riverside was a loooong walk to main building and all the bus stops at Riverside.  - txdisneymomma  93.0 #71 1:26PM
Never stayed on both property... But for my opinion, go for the affordable one (if you consider BUDGET the most). Both property looks awesome!!!  - otilegna  2121.6 #61 3:15PM
POFQ has not been doing AP discounts lately, while AoA does. The cost will probably be very similar. POFQ is beautiful, but AoA looks like a lot of fun! - DisneyCREWmom  73.5 #3871 9:29PM
Oohhh. I guess stay at AOA then. And if ur never been there, DO IT - otilegna  2121.6 #61 9:58PM
its absolutely beautiful    The children will have their own full bathroom and you your own.  It's a decent size.   We loved it.   - 5disneylovers  966.6 #5 5:22PM
Oohhh! Yes! I love the idea of their own (and my own!) bathroom!   - DisneyCREWmom  73.5 #3871 9:26PM

Hi Everyone! I am a long time lurker, infrequent poster. Tomorrow is my 180 day mark before our trip in September, and I'm really hoping to get a BOG dinner reservation. I'm in CA, so I'm getting up at 2:45 am to try to get a reservation online. Does anyone have any tips or hints? We are staying at POFQ, so I have a few dates to choose from. Thanks in advance!
Welcome and good luckπŸ€ - mmddgp  582.9 #10 8:11PM
Thanks! - DisneyCREWmom  73.5 #3871 8:28PM

September is low crowds. I doubt you'll have trouble getting BOG reservations.  - DizneyGirl  716.6 #7 4:02AM
We went in September 2010, 2011, and 2012 and I never had trouble getting reservations at any place.  Good luck. - DizneyGirl  716.6 #7 4:05AM
9:00om CA time didn't work. I just finished and got everything I wanted! BOG, CRT, ohana, garden grill, tusker house, via Napoli, Sci fi, raglan road, beaches and cream, and biergarten! - DisneyCREWmom  73.5 #3871 4:22AM
Yay. Great selections.  - mmddgp  582.9 #10 5:00AM
We have a trip early sept. We were able to get 3 BOG reservations. Ending up canceling two once we had all the reservations we wanted. Good luck - TinkTinkTink  201.4 #39 5:05AM

Hi everyone- I have a question for you. We will arrive at WDW from CA in 4 days! By the time we get off plane, gather luggage, stop at grocery store, and get to hotel, it will be 6:00pm. Normally, we have dinner at the hotel, unpack, and let kids play on the playground. I'm considering going to a park that night instead, since we will be on CA time. Which park would you recommend for a quick, late  More...
Great ideas! We have passes, so Epcot is an option, but I love the idea of golfing and DTD! My kids (4 and 7) loved Winter Summerland- maybe we will try Fantasia Gardens. They also love DQ at DTD- might try that, too. We will see how much energy they have. Thanks for all the great tips! - DisneyCREWmom  73.5 #3871 10:24AM
Epcot may be busy, but their World Showcase would be a great place to spend the evening! I'm from the west coast too and usually spend my first night at Downtown Disney. - CollegeDisneyKnowledgeGrad  985.0 #3 8:03AM

Hi everyone! I'm a long time lurker, first time poster! My family and I live in SoCal, and we are visiting WDW in 11 days! I need some packing advice...I see the temps are lows of mid 50's and highs of mid 70's. Will we need more than sweatshirt hoodies? Thanks in advance!
