Book an early fast pass for one attraction. Get to the park at rope drop, and ride the other attraction first.  In October, I used  this strategy for our party of 10 (ages 6 to 77), and we did Soarin, Test Track, and Mission Space in the first hour.
Soarin for me - bearlove  96.7 #3492 5:14PM
Soarin but only because I'm not at all a fan of Test Track so I don't even bother doing it at all - tracsant  1121.1 #2 5:39PM

What about the All Star Family Suite? Is it more than 2 standard rooms? Bring a few air mattresses? My 7 year old daughter would rather sleep on an air mattress than her regular bed!
if the Cabin price is times 1, and the other rates will be x2... I will personally go for Cabin..... But if everything will be x2, im sticking with the cheapest, BUT THERR IS AN EXCEPTION. Sports and Pop seems close price, I GO FOR POP! - otilegna  2104.5 #61 7:25PM
Wow everything is organized.... seeing all the options, it is hard to decide... But for me, i always go for the cheapest :) (i need more money for souvenirs and trinkets)... - otilegna  2104.5 #61 4:48PM
The boys have been asking to stay at sports for a while. The younger ones have never the older ones we have but it has been many years. I always go valu unless I get free dinning. Plus I have to Xs these by two. These prices are for one room and I need two😁.  - mmddgp  581.4 #10 6:07PM
Oh no.... How about the cabin? Is that gonna be as 1? - otilegna  2104.5 #61 7:22PM
Well legally it should be two also. I was just thinking maybe I can squeeze 8 of us in a place that's only to be 6 - mmddgp  581.4 #10 7:43PM
What about a cabin next to a camp site? Maybe a few kiddos would sleep in a tent? - DizneyGirl  712.1 #7 4:31AM
Hmmm that's an idea but they have never done this so probably would not want to. I have even thought of staying off property in a house but then I would have to rent a large van or two cars then pay parking, I may as well spend it on a on site hotel.  - mmddgp  581.4 #10 4:56AM
We are staying on site this year. However when we go for 2 weeks I love staying off site because we do get tired of being so confined and not having our own space. Last June we stayed in a 3 bedroom, 3 bath town home. It had a screened in porch over looking a small pond. It was $55 a night!  Even paying for parking, that's cheap. Two days of every trip we avoid parking fees: one by visiting the boardwalk and walking to Epcot, another by visiting Wilderness Lodge and taking the boat to MK. What ever you decide will be awesome, happy planning! - DizneyGirl  712.1 #7 5:34AM
Hi I know I'm commenting late, but I would go with pop. I've had connecting rooms with my mom and brother it was perfect.  I had privacy. They had privacy. When we wanted to be together we opened our doors.  I've been to all star movies it was nice but I didn't like the busses they treat the 3 hotels like they are 1. It took too long to get the parks and usually had to stand.  - disneygrandma1  7.4 #289 11:06PM
The all star buses have changed. When have you been last? We thought the same. But when we were there in January the all stars all had each own buses! And we actually saw them coming and going more this time than ours at pop! It was really interesting. Last time we went in 09 we did all stars and hated the buses. But finally they changed it  - brodysmommy  401.4 #510 1:24AM
Thats a good news for all the all star resorts to have a buses on their own - otilegna  2104.5 #61 4:35AM
Thanks. I know the last time we went the buses were different. It was in oct. It wasn't every day or time. But the kids are older now and no stroller so it might not be so bad - mmddgp  581.4 #10 5:10AM

I order shelf stable (ie no refrigeration required) Horizon milk boxes from Amazon.com, and have them delivered directly to our hotel. We usually go to WDW for 8-10 days, and half gallons won't stay fresh for our entire trip. I keep a few boxes in the fridge for breakfast each morning, and add a few more each day. Since they're small (8 ounces?), they chill quick! Perfect amount of milk for a bowl  More...
We used garden grocer last May. Ordered lots of bottled water, energy drinks, soda, fresh fruit & veg, yogurt, oh and chocolate donuts! Worked out great since we flew in from California. We ordered again for this Mays trip.  - RhondaR  222.8 #1608 1:29PM

Hello! Mousesavers.com has disney cruise military discount information. Good luck!
@otilegna may be able to help with discount information. Think Shades of Green has pretty good rates you can look into. You may want to check with a good Disney travel planner. Are you a member of AAA. Your boyfriend may have great travel benefits from USAA too. Good luck, what a great surprise! - jacdanfan  8426.6 #5 9:50AM
If your BF got an access to MWR/ITT, get the Disney Military Salute ticket... 4day park hopper is like 180 (more or less). Better to buy it there than at the parks... I heard shades of green is a good one. Never stayed there coz u need a car for that area (their bus is always busy! Lol)... Also, try the MWR/ITT IF They offer cruise tickets. - otilegna  2104.5 #61 1:55PM
also for the disney salute ticket, ur bf can only buy up to 6 for the entire promotion period... - otilegna  2104.5 #61 1:56PM

Hello! Yes, I order milk boxes (like horizon milk) from amazon, and have them delivered to our hotel. It works great!
We haven't rented a car in years either. We bring our own snack in their own suitcase (we dont bring water just order water at the counter) then when the snacks are gone we have an extra suit case to bring home the things we ha accumulated. I have heard about some on here using garden grocer, you order and they deliver to your hotel. - mmddgp  581.4 #10 4:17PM
I believe it's called garden grocer. It's on the WDW site. - Pooh147856  252.4 #28 4:24PM

Thanks! How far in advance did you order? - brittandkell  440.0 #450 5:19PM
One more question...do you have to alert the hotel? - brittandkell  440.0 #450 5:19PM
I have an amazon prime account, so I choose a prime item. I order the milk 2 days prior to my check in date to use the 2 day prime shipping. I have my item addressed as: my name, hotel guest checking in on date, c/o hotel. Call your resort and ask for the shipping address. I've actually had amazon ship additional items to me at the hotel during my visit. My stroller organizer broke during travel, so I ordered a new one during my trip! Let me know if you have any more questions. - DisneyCREWmom  73.5 #3865 7:34PM
I forgot to add, no you don't need to alert the hotel. When you check in, ask them if they have a package for you, and they'll bring it to your room. If you before the package arrives, the hotel will leave you a voicemail on your room phone. - DisneyCREWmom  73.5 #3865 7:37PM
Thanks so much for the info!!!!! Really appreciate it! - brittandkell  440.0 #450 10:23PM
We have used Garden Grocer the last 3 trips and it worked out great. - disneycm  628.8 #9 5:21PM
At least resorts with DVC if not others have a few (Disney-priced) grocery items, like bread and oatmeal. We buy a 2-liter, loaf of bread, and peanut butter at the beginning of the trip for bfast/snacks. In terms of water, I bought a Dasani 1st day and refilled t, but by the 3rd day, the water took on an odd chemical taste, even when I refilled in epcot! (the best tap water on property.) dunno how helpful this is 😝 - C-Ticket  39.7 #110 6:29PM

Hi! I ordered Organic Valley milk boxes (12 8oz milk boxes per carton) from amazon.com and had them delivered directly to the hotel. They don't require refrigeration, so you can put a few boxes in each night for breakfast the next morning. Our refrigerator wouldn't keep a gallon of milk cold enough for our taste. Hope this helps!
Yes it's a small fridge. We kept our juices out and use ice to cool them Only the must keep cold items were in the fridge - 5disneylovers  965.6 #5 8:22PM
I think we took out the metal rack to fit it - 5disneylovers  965.6 #5 8:23PM

I don't post often, but I need to reply to this post. My daughter's best friend drowned in a swimming pool during a party with dozens of parents present. My heart goes out to this family. My family did Winter Summerland on our last trip. My kids (4 and 7) loved it! It's where Santa and his elves play golf when on vacation in Florida. It's the beach, North Pole, and Christmas all rolled up together. You can take the blizzard beach bus to get to the course.
