I don't post often, but I need to reply to this post. My daughter's best friend drowned in a swimming pool during a party with dozens of parents present. My heart goes out to this family. Please spread the word- I know for a fact the POFQ gift shop has swim vests for kids to use for your entire length if stay- for free. You keep them in your room, and return at check out. It takes 5 minutes to check them out from the shop. I would guess all other hotels have the same program. I saw many kids without vests- who, in my opinion, should have been in vests. Remember, our kids are all on overload on vacation, and may not swim their best on vacation. My kids, 5 and 7, both know swim vests are non-negotiable. To all the families visiting WDW, take 5 minutes to get vests, for all your kids. God bless that little guy and his family!
My family did Winter Summerland on our last trip. My kids (4 and 7) loved it! It's where Santa and his elves play golf when on vacation in Florida. It's the beach, North Pole, and Christmas all rolled up together. You can take the blizzard beach bus to get to the course.
Great ideas! We have passes, so Epcot is an option, but I love the idea of golfing and DTD! My kids (4 and 7) loved Winter Summerland- maybe we will try Fantasia Gardens. They also love DQ at DTD- might try that, too. We will see how much energy they have. Thanks for all the great tips!
Hi ccmom! We leave in 4 days, too! I wish my packing was done, but I need to finish some work projects first. Packing for WDW will be my reward!
Thanks everyone! You guys rock!
