Hi MW FL! Thought I would poke my head in here and say hi! Quick question: have any of you stayed at any of the All Star Movies/Music/Sports resorts? If so, how was your experience? And which one is the most convenient to the buses? Thanks!
I've stayed at music 2-3 times and sports once. the decor is lively- fun resorts for kids. love music's pools, shaped like a guitar and a piano. they all 3 share a bus, except maybe right after park close- I haven't stayed in awhile, can't remember. I think sports is the first to be dropped off and picked up. as with all values, the toiletries are crap. consider bringing your own soap. I personally prefer pop century, but music is great too. - C-Ticket  37.5 #107 11:19AM
I have stayed at all of them. The kids prefer sports well you know because I have 5 boys and a girl but my princess is just as much into sports. Sports reciently had their food court refabed so it should be great and I think one is under construction now. They do all share a bus but when we stayed at the music last year we didn't. It was kinda wired. We do prefere pop century. They do have their own buses. - mmddgp  385.6 #17 1:59PM
Stayed at Sports in 2007.  It was a special they were running and so it was Sports or nothing.  I was pleasantly surprised, as we aren't sports people.  It's a fun resort and the food court was awesome with some of the best food we've had. - DizneyGirl  568.1 #8 2:30PM
👋 Hope all is well with you. We've stayed at the Pop several times. Great experience and food court. No negatives as far as I'm concerned. Is the Pop an option? - jacdanfan  6371.6 #10 5:25PM

Hi WDW MWers! I have a question: Has anyone ever done the Fantasmic Dining Package at Hollywood Studios? If so, what was your experience like? And is it worth the extra money? Thanks!
It's great but there is no extra money. You eat at the place that has the ticket. That's it. - tomevans13  249.8 #27 3:51PM
i did it once before (August 2012)... I ate at the Hollywood and Vine, which is the cheapest among the restaurant that offer Fantasmic Dining Package... Food is acceptable, you just have a good reserved ticket for Fantasmic! (the seating then was on the right side of amphitheater. not sure if they changed it now to center section)... You can now try FastPass+ for Fantasmic :) - otilegna  1773.9 #67 4:17PM
We did mama Melrose with the fantasmic package. I know if you're on the dining plan there is no extra fee. The food is pretty good as well. - girlonfire  52.6 #90 4:30PM
I've done it a couple of times. It really isn't necessary to get a decent seat. - CollegeDisneyKnowledgeGrad  826.6 #4 7:01PM

Hi MW WDW! I'm a CM at DL and I'm planning to go to WDW in January. It will be my first visit ever to WDW. Any tips for a first time guest??
Definitely do the dining plan. It's not a big deal at dl but it's so worth it at wdw. Also spend more time at epcot and animal kingdom since nothing is like it at dl. Dl has nothing on the magic kingdom. When are you going in January? We are going then too. Weather is usually decent in January too. Have fun! - disneyrunmom  200.5 #1851 12:25PM
Make dining reservations at the 180 day mark. There is a lot to do so try to plan out a tentative schedule to make the most of your time. You don't need a car unless you plan to go off property. From what I have heard, January is a great time to go, enjoy!! - Andrea84  629.4 #7 12:33PM
That's too cool! It will be great seeing you in my surroundings for a change :-) - UppityEmpress  786.9 #5 2:34AM
