Hi everyone hope your day is going magically. We are going to WDW during Thanksgiving and I am planning the trip for our families. I am trying to think of some great things to do especially since my friend's husband is a former imagineer, but he has not been to WDW during the holidays. Any suggestions?
Hi there!  My first time at WDW will be in December so I don't have any tips yet, but I wanted to wish you a great time on your trip! 😊. Maybe we can both learn some cool stuff from your post! - AngiMouse  606.9 #391 8:38PM
Cool sounds like a plan - Gatorgaljlb  10.6 #249 6:31AM
Hello! Have you looked at the tours? There are so many good ones!! - DizneyGirl  1564.5 #5 5:05AM
Hi, thanks for the suggestion. I asked about tours that could be done with kids and the rep said that they are on hold during holiday weeks 😒 - Gatorgaljlb  10.6 #249 6:32AM
Well that stinks! I had no idea!  - DizneyGirl  1564.5 #5 7:21AM
Good morning! Try Epcot. There's so many neat things to see there holiday related.  There's the storytellers in each country and the candlelight processional is beautiful.  When we went it started the day after Thanksgiving.  Also the Christmas parties at Magic Kingdom will be happening on select nights.( extra ticket required ) The parade and fireworks at the party are amazing.  Also all the holiday decorations will be up, seeing the castle with all the beautiful lights is breathtaking.  - disneygrandma1  2174.5 #2 7:40AM
I have never been at thanks giving sorry but during dec the parks are all aglow and there is so much to see and do. Always wanted to do a tour but there seems to be some great ones. They come out with new character dinning every year in conjunction with the holidays and they all seem amazing. Plan a special dessert party, we did the sleigh ride at fort wilderness last dec and it was fun. There are things to see and do also at the delux resorts, you can plan a dinner then take part in festivities around the resort( two of my favorites are fort wilderness for the hoop de do, wagon or sleigh rides, petting farm, Chip and dale campfire. The animal kingdom lodge, dinner at boma, visit the animals on the savannah, sit by the huge fire pit outside and story time in the lobby.) of course their decorations are amazing as well. Google holiday festivities around Disney world, that is how I found the sleigh ride. Love mvmcp for the holiday and do love all the story tellers at EPCOT ( it was my favorite thing to do) I don't know how early they start though and also the processional at Epcot was amazing as well. Happy planning  - mmddgp  1959.4 #3 10:51AM

So just tried to book the candlelight processional dining package, was kind of bummed because Teppan Edo was booked. Got Coral Reef instead, has anyone eaten there before?
We have eaten atCoal reef before. It was very good and atmosphere was great also. Did you try for lunch times? We did lunch atBiergarten last year, it wasCheaper and very good - mmddgp  1959.4 #3 6:31PM
Thank you for responding. We are using the dining plan. We were told the candlelight processional requires its two credits for all the restaurants - Gatorgaljlb  10.6 #249 6:56PM

It is pretty good. Ask to get a table by the aquarium. The tables are tiered so you can see from anywhere but down next to it is cool. - alfrulz  19.8 #178 9:07PM

Good morning, Does anyone have any good recommendations for Thanksgiving Dinner at Disney? I have Chef Mickey's booked but thinking of changing it to Trail's end. Any suggestions?
We enjoyed them both! Chefs is character and you can take the tram from Mk Β and trails is not and take the boat from Mk. Both are very good - mmddgp  1959.4 #3 6:38AM
Do you have the dinning plan? You can go a step further and do hoop de do at fort wilderness or the luau at the poly since it is a special day. They are both a lot of fun.  - mmddgp  1959.4 #3 7:37AM
We had thanksgiving dinner at planet hollywood last year...which planet is no longer, there...liberty tree tarven have like thanksgiving food... - islandgirl58  525.4 #18 11:28AM

Hi I booked POR princess room but my friend could only book POP Century, so we might change rooms so we can all be together. Have not stayed there in a while how is the food court at POP and are the beds comfortable? I remember thinking they were hard
Food court at POP is great, lots to choose from. We all loved it.  As for the beds, we as a family are usually park open to park closers....so by the time we hit the beds, we are fast asleep...no memories if they are hard or not....haha! - ncjal  333.4 #29 6:01PM
Love pop !!! Food court great and I think it's better than por food court. I think the needs are comfy but they are smaller full size and por has queen size - mmddgp  1959.4 #3 6:20PM
I was at the pop last May 7ish... Food court wise, they did change the menu but it is still affordable price. They now focus on the sides more this time, but i still like it.... Bed wise, idk if its hard or not, but it is still acceptable... Ask for extra pillows coz they only give 2 per bed! - otilegna  2864.0 #60 7:55PM

Hello, has anyone been to the 24 hr party at MK? Any suggestions on how to prepare? Did u last the whole day/night?
We went last year in the evening after work and stayed until 2 am or so and it was busy but I think a lot of people start to leave and Fri morning is the busiest. Book your FP early so you can get more later and be prepared for crowds and long waits and just enjoy the various extra shows, dance parties, etc. You can also dress as your favorite character which is fun! - Andrea84  759.1 #12 2:33PM

Hello, Has anyone ever went to the Character breakfast at Citricos?
Hello , I wasn't aware Citricos had a character breakfast . I thought 1900 Park was the only character dining at The Grand Floridian. If that's where you meant the character interaction is good but as far as food I prefer Crystal Palace with Pooh & friends in Magic Kingdom or Cape May at The Beach Club with Mickey and friends , also Chef Mickeys is good  - tracsant  1599.6 #4 1:56PM
