Hello mwers! Anyone have any experience with shades of green tickets? Or resort?
I've not stayed at SoG, but talked with a couple in line at Soarin' and they couldn't rave about it enough. We did military tickets on year as my dad joined us and bought them for us, they are just for a short period though. - DizneyGirl  605.2 #8 5:33PM
If you book it let us know. I am trying to get my son's grandmother to go with us just to stay there. She is a federal employee and can get us in. - Lelundrial  461.2 #396 6:15PM
is it like Shades of Gray? I know about that pretty well - Dave  11285.9 #2 10:38PM

I never stayed at the Shades of Green because they do not have a shuttle to/from Orlando international airport (idk if they changed that already). My co-worker stayed there 2 yrs ago as a wedding gift from my command (yeah, all of us shared money for the Disney trip for them). The Military ticket is a good deal, just make sure of the blackout dates - otilegna  1779.7 #70 2:37PM

Question for all of the seasoned mwers. We are going with a large group (47 more days), does anyone have any experience with the photo CD vs. photo pass plus options that wdw offers? Recommendations?
You'll get mixed reviews on this topic, lol! I like it, but I don't do it every trip. I will likely do the Plus in June so I don't have to worry about keeping up with my camera AND my 2yo. I want to get a lot of pics of us as a group (also a pretty large group of 8). It's expensive, and sometimes the photos don't always turn out, but I have been very lucky. Most all of my PP pics in the past were keepers! 😊 - mrsincredible  809.5 #5 3:32PM
Haha! Mixed reviews, for sure! 👊 - BagGal  224.1 #31 3:34PM
For the most part, I like it. However, on our last trip we were missing several photos. Of course, some of them were magic ones, the ones my munchkins wanted the most! - BagGal  224.1 #31 3:34PM
We just do the photo pass. It is free and every opportunity we get we also ask if they would take one with our camera or phone also. They are more than happy to. When we get home we pull up what they have and make a decision at that time. Some times we buy and sometimes we don't but atleast we have them on photo pass and a camera just in case - mmddgp  414.3 #16 9:04PM

Hello mw! I'm am new to the group, but not to disney :) have a question for all the mw experts..our family countdown for our vacay to dw is 68 days! Woohoo! We are traveling with a party of 10. 4 adults and 6 kids ranging from 2-13. What if any dw water park would you recommend for little ones? Shes ready for disney!
Both of the parks are really nice and both have kiddie areas and a lazy river. We go to atleast one every trip. It is a nice relaxing day and usually try and put it in the middle if the trip so it is a break in the week. Have a fun time - mmddgp  414.3 #16 8:51AM
FYI I personally like TL better, but the 10 11 and 18 yr olds like BB - mmddgp  414.3 #16 12:39PM
I haven't been to any of the water parks , just wanted to say welcome and she is just too cute:) - tracsant  949.8 #2 8:41AM
Welcome! I am interested to, as we might enjoy a water park next visit (or the beach). I've heard TL too! - DizneyGirl  605.2 #8 2:25PM
TL has more shade and not so many stairs. There are parts of BB that get really hot and all those stairs can be hard with small ones. My kids loved TL when they were smaller, BB when they got older. They still like TL best tho. - Eraf61  264.8 #1076 3:25PM
