Hi MWers, Here's my family except for DS11 who just had a bday last week and is camera shy. Just 3 weeks away for our first WDW trip. Getting worked up with planning. Still working on the itinerary. I am a detailed planner but very flexible. Sons getting excited. DD watching youtube for Disney characters she's unfamiliar with.

Hi MW friends,
Working on my plans. We will be at Epcot for my DD 4th Bday. Breakfast at Akershus but cant decide a special bday dinner since no other character place in that park. What would you suggest? Originally planned doing QS at Katsura Grill but it doesnt feel special enough. Character ADRs: Cape May day before, Chef Mickey on our 1st night, Crystal Palace on our first park day and Tusker Place on our AK day, Sci Fi and H & V for our HS days. Being it our first trip, meals are focused for kid friendly places.Thanks for your feedback.
You could try garden grill if your looking for another character meal. It's on my list to try but other mw'ers have and gave it a great review.😃 - Schramke

I will keep trying Garden Grill since it seems to be the most suggested. In the meantime, I booked Biergarten. luvthemouse photo shows that the kids can dance with the show. She loves dancing. - nanay2jdr

We ate at garden grill the last time we were there and loved it. The characters really take their time with you and the restaurant rotates slowly through the land ride. We did Biergarten before. The atmosphere is really fun and kid friendly, but the food is only "ok." Coral Reef had the best food. Nice restaurant with neat aquariums. Kids liked the aquariums but list interest after a while. Def keep trying garden grill. I think it's the best fit for what you're looking for. - Disneyaddict

Today marks our 45 days. So full payment done. One less thing to worry about. Still micromanaging our tour plan and ADRs. I probably should leave it alone since I am sure it will keep on evolving. Ordered some guidebooks from Amazon to learn more.
