Im traveling to Disney on monday and want to get to magic kingdom in times for the welcome show. how much time should i allow for parking ticket buying and riding the monorail over to the kingdom? by the way Im traveling with a 2 yr old and a 5 week old
As long as its not an emh morning. It'll be at 850. So I'd say get there around 730 to get tickets and travel time to MK. Plus bag checks and entry.. - IndyandMarion  1236.9 #1 5:02AM

Are there any of the non height restricted rides i can't ride if i have my one month old in a baby carrier/sling?
You will have to go parent swap because baby cannot get on rides. Tell the CM you want to do parent swap. The Disney CM will then instruct you to enter the queue. Once you're at the boarding area, let the Cast Member know that you want to "child swap." They'll show you where to wait while the rest of your party enjoys the ride. Once they get back, you hand the baby over to your hubby and you get your turn without having to get back on the line. - 5disneylovers  776.7 #5 5:26PM
I would think you could on any if the "dark rides" in Fantasyland. Maybe someone who's taken an infant (like my mother!) could answer for sure. - CollegeDisneyKnowledgeGrad  808.9 #3 5:26PM

Not to my knowledge. I took my son when he was 9 months old and I either was carrying him or had him in the baby bjorn. I was never turned away. I felt more safe with him in the baby bjorn but could carry him also. So it's up to you how you want to carry him but you can take them on any ride with no height requirement. - brodysmommy  328.0 #654 10:13PM

any tips on taking a one month old and a 2 1/2 year old to magic kingdom for the day? baby will be in a baby carrier/sling type thing
Use the baby center for cool down. I lived there last sumer with my 2 month old. Lots of fluids - 5disneylovers  776.7 #5 11:29AM
The center has movies to occupy the 21/2 year old while you change breast feed etc the staff are helpful. The breast feeding room is open bring a coverup - 5disneylovers  776.7 #5 11:30AM
What's the room like? I have a feeling I will need it with my cranky 2yo in June. - mrsincredible  770.6 #6 5:26PM
Each park has one. Ak one is vey big. I liked the private breast feeding rooms there. They all have things to occupy older children. They sell a few baby related items. You can warm bottles if you need to. They were very clean Well air condition - 5disneylovers  776.7 #5 5:41PM
Awesome! Any rocking chairs? - mrsincredible  770.6 #6 5:48PM

taking my two yr old son to magic kingdom for the first time on march 4th any tips?
Height requirements will be a big thing. Take your time. Do Fantasyland first. Get that area out of the way first. - IndyandMarion  1236.9 #1 11:49AM
Take your time to enjoy and have fun! - Pooh147856  164.1 #46 11:52AM
Go prepared! It is open till 12 so if you wanted to take a break in the middle of the day and go back later there is time. We would pack what we needed for the day( extra clothes, towel, bathing suit, sippie cups, snacks, cooler, stroller fan) and we stayed the day. Go early and do fantasy land first ride Peter Pan , pooh, small world , dumbo. We would have lunch and let them splash around in the sprinklers( they have a new great area by dumbo ) change there clothes and they were ready for a nap. They took it in their stroller and me and my husband had our quiet time of browsing the shops. See the stage show, day and night parade and the fire works. Take lots of pictures an dint forget to take some of his expressions! They are priceless. Have a magical time! - mmddgp  377.5 #18 8:00AM
