You will have to go parent swap because baby cannot get on rides. Tell the CM you want to do parent swap. The Disney CM will then instruct you to enter the queue. Once you're at the boarding area, let the Cast Member know that you want to "child swap." They'll show you where to wait while the rest of your party enjoys the ride. Not to my knowledge. I took my son when he was 9 months old and I either was carrying him or had him in the baby bjorn. I was never turned away. I felt more safe with him in the baby bjorn but could carry him also. Go prepared! It is open till 12 so if you wanted to take a break in the middle of the day and go back later there is time. We would pack what we needed for the day( extra clothes, towel, bathing suit, sippie cups, snacks, cooler, stroller fan) and we stayed the day. Go early and do fantasy land first ride Peter Pan , pooh, small world , dumbo. We would have lunch and let them splash around in the sprinklers( they have a new great area by dumbo ) change there clothes and they were ready for a nap. They took it in their stroller and me and my husband had our quiet time of browsing the shops. See the stage show, day and night parade and the fire works.
