I am at a loss! Our WDW trip is in Oct. my husband an I have decided to let my son being a friend. That means I will be traveling with two 12 year old boys. I wanted to go to the not so scary halloween party but wasn't sure if boys that age would enjoy it. I don't want to spend that much extra money if its geared towards younger kids. Has anyone been? Is it a good idea for boys that age?

We gone a few times and love it, can't speak for 12 yr old boys , but there is lots of candy involved lol, the parade is very cool and starts off with the headless horseman - tracsant

I went to that party at that age, and again at 14! Loved it both times. Lots of candy, and VERY short wait times for rides. It's not crowded at all, and that's what I enjoyed most about it! I think you should take them - MegHanSolo

I am booked at POP in October. Last time we stayed at all star music. Is pop any better? Is there a big difference between the value resorts? I will be traveling with two 12 year old boys. I just want to make sure they enjoy everything.
Love pop century! We have stayed there since it opened. It's fun to look around at the bigger than life figures. My grand kids have fun in the pools, they have pin pong tables by the big pool and the game room

I've never stayed at all star but pop is really fun! Stayed there in jan, WL in feb and have reservations for may at POP! They have a good food court and the theme is GREAT there!! Fun courtyards and a little jogging trail around a small lake that's between AOA and pop! We liked it a lot! - brittandkell

I wish I was at WDW today! Monday Alabama was hit by bad storms. I still don't have power. Pls pray that today is the day we get it back on! 😁It's supposed to rain and snow over the weekend!

I have been trying to decide about a dining plan. Last time we did the one quick service and one sit down meal. I enjoyed the dining experience but did not like working around my reservations. This time I was thinking about doing the two quick service. Has anyone looked at the prices? Is it a better deal to get the plan? I did not look at prices last time because we just used our key.

Be more reasonable for us because we don't drive and we don't want to leave the park in search of food. Yes the prices are crazy. We get the standard dining plan because my children are easy about breakfast. The snacks are expensive so it works out great that those are include. You have to evaluate how much the people in your party eat and if they will still be wanting more to eat after you do the quick services. Good luck. - 5disneylovers

We usually get the ddp ,but last month we didn't and it worked out cheaper , we always make ressies for ts , it can be a pain to have to go especially if you feel like you are having a good time but so many of the restaurants are an experience in itself and I tend to get tired of burgers , pizza ect. And it's nice to take a break at a nice place to eat and try something I never did , but either way you have to just add it all up , for 2 for 5 days it would have cost is 500 and change and I just didn't want to spend that , I added what I thought each meal at every place we were going to and it was less and we didn't lose snacks or qs like we usually do , good luck and happy planning:) - tracsant
