Praying!! Could it be Roseola? Jonah had that... no other symptoms but super high fever for a few days followed by a rash. He was only 3 months old when he got it... scared us to death! Keep us posted. - mrsincredible

Not only is it a little cheaper to preorder but if you have a friend who is going to disney around the same time as you and you trust, you can share the photo pass number and divide the cost of the photo pass as well. Then as a bonus you will each get to share in each others magical time.

if you are feeling brave you could take the mass transit bus for a dollar fifty and it drops off in the universal parkinglot. you would just have to do a little online research for the schedule. ive done it once and its not bad since I am used to how buses operate.
I had a car when I went but I didn't care for it too much. I guess its preference though because some people love it - mickeym0use

We are there now! If you are a HP fan you will love it. We are staying at pops and we took mears here. It is 19.pp round trip. When it is just 2 if us that's what we do if I have my grandkids we book a van that is @ 35. One way. - mmddgp

Funny you mention this today 'cause that's exactly what we did today! We are at Coronado Springs and we used Mears. I'm actually sitting on the bus going back as I type this. It's $38 for two people round trip. It only took us 45 minutes to get from our hotel to Universal, including other pick up stops. - NotNKansasAnymor

Thanx guys for all the comments, we've booked US too over 2 days in oct and we were tossing up whether to get a hire car or the mears. After reading this i think we'll take the mears, choosing our own return times sounds good and the cost is reasonable. Hire cars u hav the worry of an accident, damage, etc

I notice it is cheaper to book your flight through either the airline directly or priceline negotiator if you dont mind varied flight times. them i book the hotel room through disney since i like to stay on the property and either use AAA or other discounts for the room and can save upwards of 40% per night. i dont do the disney dining package since i dont like it. I think its better to have food delivered from wegoshops or gardengrocer and have special dinners since u save a lot on drinks and lunch that way. lastly on tickets i like to use my friends military tickets since they are very economical and he can give me up to 8 a year. a good example of cost is in 2011 i went for 9 days ti disney world for 1200 to include flight, hotel, 4 day fun and more tickets for 2 people. food was another 300. have a great time planning your trip as it can be so much fun
I had a friend book theirs through an agent, their whole trip including tickets, stay at all star music, dining plan and air from kc was $3000. And that is for this April, I thought that wad pretty good. Oh there are 2 adults and 1 kid. - ccmom

We are wanting to stay at AoA when we go but I looked at the map and the standard rooms seem so far from everything and my sister in law wanted a suite for them and I don't think they have suited and standard rooms in same building. I still remember getting stuck on that ride for over an hour. I was so close to the exit I could see people waiting at a broken ride. The song was stuck in my mind for the whole day. I never went back. Lol
