Okay so our next trip us going to be a surprise for the kids, what I want to know is how do you all do it! I can't even keep quiet about going to little thinks around here lol, the minute I know it is out of my mouth!!
We have only done two surprise trips. The first was for the oldest, he requested some alone time with nana and papa so we picked him up for dinner and took a drive. When we arrived at the air port he asked what are we doing here ? We told him we were going to have dinner and watch the airplanes take off. We parked the car and popped the trunk and he looked confused when he saw our luggage and again asked why? We said we are going to Disney! How , I have no clothes? Then we pulled out his duffle which had a new wardrobe in it just for Disney! He was so excited! It was a great trip! The second one was an extended trip to SC. We stayed the weekend there for a birthday party and was "heading home" after we stopped for breakfast. It was my older daughter and her daughter, and the two youngest grandsons. On the road we are heading to Disney and we are probably about 3 hours away and they are asking are we almost home? I told them it was goin to be a little bit just relax, take a nap and when you wake up we will almost be home. Well they did, and it was perfect, they woke up just before crossing under the welcome home sign! Screems of joy and clapping filled the van, it was amazing!!! Lately though I just surprise them with meal experiences like the luau and lunch with jake and friends which in their words were " that was the best dinner ever ". Sorry for being long winded. The first year we went we all planned it together for several months, the next time they knew we were going just not when. THis time has been a complete secret and we are not telling them until the night before our flight. It's early in the morning or we would have waited until we arrived at teh airport. It has been difficult to keep the secret because we often talk about our visits to the park, bu that has also been part of the fun knowing htat they hafve no clue that they are in for an amazing surprise in just 2 weeks now. - kennewhitson

I received my maps, yay thank you so much!! So you know how we changed our minds and wanted to go to Las Vegas next year, well in the light of everything that had happened I have decided out will be disneyland.....I just want to spend time with my babies and that is the most important thing to me!!

Thank you all for the prayers for my friend, she pass away this evening from too many complications. All I can say to you guys is love your loved ones everyday and every chance you get because you never know when it could end. She was young only 34 is a very heart breaking night for me.

Okay friends need major prayers and pixie dust, one of my friends is in her 3rd surgery, she was very sick removed her colon and now they can't stop the bleeding. This is her last hope as once of her kidneys shut down and her liver is almost there. Please say a prayer....i know is not disney related but we need all the help we can get.....

RAK!!! this us a pillow for the car, my kids and nieces love them! It is fleece and the tabs are velcro so you can just out it on the seat belt! I will do a girls one in this fabric and a boys one (not sure which disney fabric I will choose yet!) Wil end fri April 26th. A simple add me will work, also let me know if it well be for a boy or girl because I will draw for both!

I have already made use of the magnetic clip and of course the rice krispy already got tasted....by mom of course has to pass quality control lol!!! Thank you again so much we love it all!!

So not such good news on our trip to DL, hubs and I decided next year our big trip is Las Vegas for the ACMs for our anniversary (5 years and is where we got married). We were going to DL next fall, we decided to go back to DW in 4 years and make it a longer trip and skip DL all together. We are putting a trip to Dollywood in there, and of course our trip to Brandon every year lol. But with us having a lake house most of our time is spent there with a big trip or two small trips a year. I am sad for the kids but my son is okay and said he would rather spend more time in orlando going to other parks also. So for now I will live vicariously through all your pics!!
