What is there to do while waiting in line? Take pictures of course! 1/2 of Tower of Terror is down, so even with a fast, it's a bit of a wait.

Disney World... the only place on earth where waiting is bearable. ๐Ÿ˜œ - mrsincredible  982.7 #4 8:55AM

We are not waiters at all, in fact, we have a time limit, if the line is too long, we pass.  In line we do Eye Spy and Word Association, test our Disney knowledge.  If you have a cell phone that you can play Heads Up! - DizneyGirl  716.6 #7 9:08AM

In bed today. About 90% sure I have gotten strep throat. Started late yesterday evening. Can't take time off, we don't have anyone to cover blah. Oh well, it's only me and one dr at work tomorrow so he may end up with it too. ANYWAYS tomorrow we get to call on free dinning. So I think while in bed today I'm going to start picking fp+ so we are ready to get them when our day comes up

Oh no hope you feel better. Had to take my son to dr Friday, he has tonsillitis. It sure hasn't slowed him down much. Lol And yay for getting free dining. ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿป - txdisneymomma  92.5 #71 6:28AM

Vacation planning is in FULL FORCE TODAY!!!! Where is the best spot to see the Electrical Water Pageant!? We have never seen it, and want to do it in June. Also, if it is a hotel, do you have to be staying there to watch it? Thanks everyone!!!

We have only seen it during the Pirates and Pals voyage, but I bet you can see it from one of MK resorts, and I wouldn't think you'd have to be staying there to see it. ย We come and go to many of the different resorts all the time when we visit the parks! ย ๐Ÿ‘Š๐Ÿผย  - mrsincredible  982.7 #4 7:55AM

Maggie, I've seen it from the Pirates and Pals Voyage, the Contemporary and Narcoossee's.  Last year was Narcoossee's and it was a little further out, but the view was AWESOME!!  We were on the porch and the music from the parade and the fireworks from Magic Kingdom was piped in. - DizneyGirl  716.6 #7 9:10AM
This year I'm hoping to catch it from the Campground!! - DizneyGirl  716.6 #7 9:10AM

I am picking up the new Disney Starbucks mugs for a few other MWers and wanted to check if anyone else needed these or the plastic cups or ceramic tumblers that they sell. Each mug is $15 and the plastic cup and ceramic tumbler are around $20. This is before shipping and tax (shipping is about $10 for one item and $15 for two due to weight). Just let me know which ones you need and I am happy to h  More...

Riley and I are watching the Disney planning DVD and I'm realizing how many rides he won't be able to ride and all the other kids will. He is just getting to the 38" mark, thank goodness because he's been talking about riding Mine Train since he first saw a commercial for it. Lol. ๐Ÿ˜ฌ

When do you go?? - brodysmommy  402.1 #510 7:55AM
Just saw... 50 days. There are certain shoes that can give you the extra height of you need it. Brody was 4 and couldn't ride the 40" rides because he wasnt there and it made us upset seeing and hearing of 2 yr olds going on them. So we found some sketchers that gave him the extra umph and he was able to go. He only really wanted to ride radiator springs and splash so that's all we did that trip but it made it more enjoyable of a trip to DL/dca - brodysmommy  402.1 #510 7:57AM
June 13-19.  - txdisneymomma  92.5 #71 7:58AM
I need to see how tall he is with his new tennis shoes on. His sister was 42" tall at his age she was able to go on everything except the big coasters.   - txdisneymomma  92.5 #71 8:06AM
Nat and I will be riding a lot of rides in June and my sister will take my 3yo niece to visit princesses, etc when we ride.  She's just too small for some of them, but happy there is a lot of rides she can ride! - mrsincredible  982.7 #4 7:57AM
Riley is 3 also(4 in Aug). I just don't know if Riley will stay with someone else so I can ride some of my favs with Haley. He's such a momma said boy.  He's really excited to meet Woody, Mr Incredible and Frozone though. - txdisneymomma  92.5 #71 8:11AM
I was thinking a bit ago I need to get on wdw website and look up all the rides that are any height or 38" and print out a list so I have it handy to know what he CAN ride. - txdisneymomma  92.5 #71 8:13AM
Most of the next step rides are 40". Like soarin, thunder, splash, dinosaur, star tours, tot, test tack, mission space. That's why we had the special shoes for Brody since he was fed old enough to hold on and understand the ride (unlike 2 yr olds that parents force on). But for us, that trip we were at DL in April and weren't going back until nov so he only rode radiator springs (it's 40" also) and that's all he cared about at that time. The next trip he was fine with regular shoes and he rode everything else. But he's also a scared y cat and doesn't like tot or space too much (our space is 40")  - brodysmommy  402.1 #510 12:01PM
I got my younger boy some shoes with bigger soles. Night one he wasn't tall enough for splash or big Thunder. The next morning he was! Keep in mind kids spines compress and contract throughout the day. So you might be good on one ride and then not the other. Just prepare them in case it doesn't happen  - wickedale  357.5 #594 11:03AM
I was telling him while we were watching the videos if he was going to be able to ride the ride or not they were showing. His sister shocked me saying she wants to do ToT.  She loves thrill rides but dark usually isn't her thing. But she will have to go with her daddy on that one, that's one I don't do. - txdisneymomma  92.5 #71 11:36AM
Yes that's true. And the height things (at least at DL) are all different. And with the cement getting hit during the day, the first one going in line usually isn't too accurate but if you can get past that one then the one at the ride itself is usually the most accurate  - brodysmommy  402.1 #510 12:03PM

i just got dinner ressies a couple of weeks ago for 12 in June! ย I saw a ad on FB for disneydiningbuddy.com I had to pay a small fee but it notified me as soon as a reservation was available. I know I probably could have done it myself by checking back all the time but I'm so forgetful etc that I figured that fee was worth it, and to me it was. On my 180 mark they were booked for the whole week we are there. I also got us a breakfast ressie, I woke up the morning they opened up ressies and got one. They happen to be in the same day too. ย Oh and breakfast at BOG last until June 18. We leave wdw June 19, so glad we didn't miss it. - txdisneymomma  92.5 #71 6:35AM

Okay it does work for any dining!  WOOT!!  We have a 3:30 lunch ressie for Akershus and I have been trying my hardest to move it to breakfast or an earlier lunch time.  I check all the time.  $8 is worth it to have someone search for me.  Thank you for posting this!!  - mrsincredible  982.7 #4 8:16AM

For me, it depends on our trip plans and who is going.  If I am going with Mr I and the boys, we get it, and make a point to stop and take a ton of PP pics (and lots of magic shots).  If it's just me and my sister, I don't.  Many of the PP photogs will also take pics of you with your camera or phone along with their PP camera.  However, I will say, it's very easy to log into their website and print screen the images from your phone.   - mrsincredible  982.7 #4 8:26AM
