I hope you all don't mind ... I'm going to share a few pics from my trip this summer. I'm trying to get myself to 25 puts for a RAK happening on the DL side. Thanks! This is the best view I had of fireworks. It was by Casey's Corner.

 It appears to be 3 d. Looks cool - mmddgp  1320.4 #5 5:41PM

When the pictures are THAT good, send all you wantโ—๐Ÿ˜€ On an unrelated subject: I should know this by now but I'm sorry that I don't: What is a RAKโ“๐Ÿ˜โฐ - Radio-Man  194.8 #46 10:57AM
A RAK is a random act of kindness. Someone on the DL side has some extra DCA guide maps with the Tower of Terror on the cover. People indicate an interest and then they randomly choose. This RAK said you had to have 25 points.  - teaching76  30.5 #0 11:15AM
@teaching76 did you get the maps? I have a few extra. And RAK was started by DAHULAGIRL way back in the beginning of MouseWait. She's was a  lovely lady and unfortunately passed. So now we continue to do RAKs and  to honor her too. basically it's just something you do to be kind,  and its usually you give something away or you're at the park and you do something for someone. It can be anything but since this is an online community it ends up as getting things at the park or have an extra pins and RAKKING  them. And you make your own rules. So   some people will put a point minimum or a distance minimum on their RAKs. Or whoever enters the RAK has to answer a certain question or follow a certain rule . And then other people just RAK  with no rules!  - secretagentangel  8513.1 #11 4:35PM
@secretagentangel I did get the maps. Thanks for asking. I didn't know all that about RAKs. That's interesting history of MW. Can you tell me how I DM? - teaching76  30.5 #0 5:20PM

Dinner at Walts.

How cool!! I would love it there. What did you have - mmddgp  1320.4 #5 5:36PM
You would. It's such a tribute to Walt and his family. Starters were Caesar salad, smoked salmon and duck - we all sampled each other's. Then sea bass which was delicious, fillet of beef and my fancy pasta just sounds plain old boring but was very tasty. I sneaked in a lemon merangue pie too! There were a lot of French there, I think it's a Saturday night favourite for locals.  - rink2  305.7 #30 5:02AM

Here is a photo from the starting line of yesterday's Inaugural Disneyland Paris half marathon. There were only 4 corrals (A-D). But, they divided each corral into very small groups to start. We didn't start until at least 7:45!

Do you know how many runners? Was it as crowded as your other Disney races? - jacdanfan  13420.8 #6 9:45PM
I don't know how many runners there were, but it was comparable to other runDisney race weekends. There were a LOT of Americans as well as French and Brits. - CollegeDisneyKnowledgeGrad  1476.4 #3 12:23AM
There were a lot going for that C to C medal. Do you think it will be as popular next year? I must admit there were less runners than I expected.  - rink2  305.7 #30 9:26AM
Wow that's interesting--did you like the smaller start groups?  Seems like that might help alleviate congestion.  Is that the hotel peeking through, under the arches?  What a great experience!  - Spoonful_O_Sugar  659.1 #335 6:33AM
I didn't like the start set up - it seemed so slow. Once in the course which was very narrow in parts it made sense. That is the Disneyland Hotel in the background.  - rink2  305.7 #30 9:22AM
Thanks for the feedback.  I don't know if you've done a DL race or not, but it can get very congested since it's so narrow, and I'm guessing that this would be somewhat similar.  Luckily I've been placed in "B" corral at DL the last couple races--so that helps a lot, but I've always wondered what it would be like if they metered people at the start line a bit more.  It would be hard to wait though, I see what you mean.   - Spoonful_O_Sugar  659.1 #335 4:01PM

Good morning Maggie! The first weekend in June is an OK time to visit, we find the Crowds Are mild to medium however the heat can be an issue. As far as 2017 planning goes, we have thrown around the idea of skipping a few years of Disney, and traveling to new places. - DizneyGirl  1152.9 #8 6:40AM
