Today, we are going to Harry Potter. The parks are absolutely packed, by all accounts. We again had a problem last night, which resulted in Disney arranging and paying for a huge dinner, bottle of wine, etc free at Portabello's for us. To make a long story short, my nephew and sister-in-law bought over $800 of the SW merchandise that first morning, much of it limited to less than 1000. They sent it back to our resort. When we got it, all the limited Ed. Items were missing. They are trying to find the items or replace them somehow. So during this time spent with management, we missed our dinner and the movie POtC. The manager at our hotel was wonderful. We are going to find a good way to thank her! I'll post more when we find out what will happen. We have never had any trouble like this before, so it's great to see how Disney handles customer service.

All of the items were replaced or else were the original items. The funny thing was that there were a couple of things in the bag that we did not purchase and we gave those back. So now everything is happily resolved.:) I really want to find out who is the head of all the hotels, so we can write them about how great Agata is. Wow im sorry to hear you had this happen to you but happy that Disney was able to right the wrong! Id write Meg Crofton the president of The WDW resort if you would like to let someone "big" know someone helped you in a special way. On my families 1st trip to WDW we stayed at one of the all-star hotels. A similar situation occurred with a pair of earrings. Without hesitation the hotel staff replaced the item. I believe disneys staff is the best in the world. To me they are a huge part of the Disney magic.
