Is it worth it 2 add water park option for the end of february beginning of march? Is it too cool?

I'm from the midwest, used to the cold. I would say unless the water at the waterparks is heated (and I mean very heated), I'd pass. But that's me, I like water that's warm and not getting out in cool temps. I'm prob in the minority! - DizneyGirl  935.1 #8 2:54PM
Personally, I do not like water parks. There's not enough chlorine in the universe to satisfy me that a water park pool is "clean" (sorry Disney). I know I'm in the minority with that view, but the weather is warm (70's & 80's) with no humidity. The pools at the resorts are heated but it's the consistency of bathwater so I think it's the same at the parks. I'm sure another MW will chime in on this and set us both straight. - Tinkerbell1265  442.0 #19 3:03PM
That's usually when I go, either last week of Feb or first week of March. I think it's warm enough. Can you add them on later when it gets closer? - perdita  71.2 #86 3:09PM
BRRrRr..way to cold for me! - justGoofin  161.8 #56 3:09PM
There's usually a couple of warm days every weektime that you could go to the water parks if you like them you should also check if one of them is under refurb at the time your going because during the winter one of the two usually is - mickeym0use  20.6 #170 3:19PM
I didn't do the waterparks in Aug. There is so much else to do and I just love the resort pools. If you like water slides tho it's worth it and I vote to wait until a closer date also! - Polynesiangirl  98.4 #71 3:33PM
Being from Florida, It is really chilly at that time for water parks, and the water is heated but not nearly warm enough..BRRR - TinkeringHalo  19.0 #176 4:55PM
I live in Seattle and I went in Feb and march and I had long shorts on with flip flops on a few of the days but then had to put trainers on and a long sleeve shirt. When in the shade I was chilly then at night pants and a hoody but it sprinkled a little and I had to buy a blanket for my 3 yr. My fam lives there and they would of put a parka they thought it was freezing!!!! So I couldn't do a water park when I went but you never know if there will be a heat wave. You can add them at them last min. - cheekymouse  34.9 #130 5:23PM
Thanks guys! - NcMoM  17.1 #187 5:29PM
FYI - from what I understand you can add this on at ANYTIME, even the day you check in, so just take your time and think about it. Also, you might call and confirm I right, would hate to give bad info, but I called to ask for our trip in Sept and I swear the gal said we could add it at check in. - DizneyGirl  935.1 #8 6:11PM
