Well today marked the 30 days, but i got some bitter sweet news! We will not got in 30 days it now just moved to 60! Hopefully I will feel better by then and we will be at WDW for my daughters birthday! So I am needed some bday ideas for her day in MK.
I hope you are feeling better soon. - Bakerjars  219.9 #21 6:57AM
Hope u get better soon - dxcmama  176.9 #28 8:45AM
Hard to wait 30 extra days but you will enjoy the trip more if you feel better. At least that's my opinion. - Dizkid  284.2 #704 8:47AM
Bday ideas: Bibbidi, Bobbidi Boutique or The Pirates League (they have a girls package) or The Pirate and Pals Fireworks Voyage. If you want more info on any let me know or go to allears.net, it has very detailed info on each. - DizneyGirl  354.0 #9 8:58AM
Feel better! For your daughters bday I would suggest BBB for a princess makeover and character dining at cinderellas royal table. You guys will have fun no matter what you decide to do! - Andrea84  297.2 #15 9:23AM
Thanks guys, I am feeling better just not ready for a 6 1/2 hour plane ride and all the walking yet. So we are pushing it to dec 7 th. But my dd bday is on the 8th so she will really flip out when she finds out we are going. I did get her into BBB and a breakfast at 1900 lunch/cake at tony's then i have dinner at 1900 again. But I think I want to cancel one of the 1900 . I feel like we are so book she won't get to be in the park much that day? I couldn't get C table . So is the 1900 nice? Or should a spread things out more over the few days. We also have res for Ausker spell? On the 7 th. At Tonys my FL family will be there to surpize her I have cake and balloons sent to Tonys and it was one place everyone could fit. So the breakfast and dinner is just for the four and a half of us and the lunch is everyone. So would you cut out the am or pm 1900 ? - cheekymouse  34.9 #90 10:09AM
That long of a plane ride would nit be good for you if you're not well. Too much stress. You've done a lot of planning and your daughter is going to be ecstatic!! Take lots of pics & videos!! - Tinkerbell1265  371.2 #8 11:03AM
Take care of yourself, I hope you feel better. It will come fast & your daughter will have an amazing birthday - perdita  63.3 #62 11:54AM
Just my opinion: it seems to me as though you are a little overbooked, especially since you, too, mentioned it. The 1st few times we went to DW - when the kids were young - we used to schedule 3 table service meals a day usually but learned over the years that a table service breakfast, in particular, drew a lot of park time away, so we totally revamped the way we do things. If it were me, I would consider doing away w/ the Park Fare breakfast. Get into MK early & have breakfast @ Main Street Bakery. The food & selection is good (as I'm sure you already know) & it's nice to sit outside over breakfast & just observe whatever is going on around you on Main Street. You'll get an earlier jump on the attractions before they get too busy and you'll be hungry for the great lunch you have planned. - SueBoo  18.6 #130 1:21PM
Get better - essom71  13.7 #156 1:53PM
@Sueboo I was talking that she wouldn't get to do much in the park with all the plans. So I am not doing the 1900 in the am and the bakery is a great idea never had anything there before. I am thinking of not doing 1900 to do the piarates boat firework show thing. Since we are doing lunch with the princesses at epcot. Is 1900 and fare better than chef mickeys? I am torn on what to do. I like to plan but I also like to just let the kids pick what they feel like doing at the moment. Since mia doesnt know I can't ask what she would like to do the most. - cheekymouse  34.9 #90 3:04PM
As far as character meals go, its really up to what characters you/your family want to meet. Remember these meals take much longer. In september we had 2 character breakfasts and didn't get to the parks until almost lunch time, I wouldn't do this again. This trip we also only did 2 character meals, the trip before we did one a day. We just spent too much time dining! - DizneyGirl  354.0 #9 11:07PM
Forgot - do the Pirate and Pals Firework Voyage you will be glad you did - DizneyGirl  354.0 #9 11:09PM
Well after lots of thinking and changes we changed our hotel to French Qtr and the other half at yacht club. And we 86'd the some of the dinners. We kept the one we think she will like most and that is spell? Auskers in Epcot. And we kept BBB in MK so she will have her make over then when she is ready we will go back to the room and it will be filled with balloons and a cake with a few gifts. I want her to enjoy the park so I kept it simple and she will be 6 I dont want to peak before 16 . We are also doing Epcot this year and we have never taken her so I think with all the holiday shows and we are doing Mickey Xmas thing too. Man I better rest my feet now! - cheekymouse  34.9 #90 1:15AM
@ cheeky - that's exactly what I was thinking. As DizneyGirl said also, those character meals, while fun for the young kids, can sometimes make you feel like one meal is running right into the next and they can seriously cut into your park time. You just have to go w/ what is most important to you on that particular trip. Speaking of Chef Mickey's: we haven't been in several years - but that has only to do w/ the fact our kids are 13 & 19 and our needs/preferences have changed - but it was a great experience (very fun & upbeat) and the food was good. We liked breakfast better than dinner. - SueBoo  18.6 #130 5:50AM
