We're 109 days out from our first trip to WDW. Anything I should definitely not miss?
Thunder mt, space mt, fantasmic, wishes, illuminations. Well everything is great! Just have fun and do what you can. There is a lot. - Schramke  325.2 #14 1:59AM
We juat got back in June and will be back in December. This will be my 16th trip :) and some of my favorites you MUST DO are: If you have little one most deff. do NOT miss out on getting autograph books and getting every character you can finds autograph with a picture. It's a special magical moment with each of them! Also do NOT miss put on letting the little ones get what they call a "passport" in Epcot. They cam take the passport around to each country and meet and greet with the different cultures of people and have them sign their passport in their language. So much fun! Another MUST DO is we always LOVE to watch Stacy every morning on tv while we get ready for our adventurous day. If youre not sure what channel shes on ask a cast member they will know what youre talking about. If this is your first trip she will tell you everything you need to know about the parks! Watch her she's great. Hmm.. Am I missing anything.. Oh yes... RIDE EVERYTHING!!!! :) have a magical trip!! - maddielucy1524  24.3 #116 2:08AM
Thanks! - eeyorefan107l  274.9 #17 8:57AM
Just went on our 1st trip. Wish i'd known about the passports in epcot : ( we put our kids on everything they were tall enough to ride without explaining what the ride was, seems cruel I know, but they loved everything (except tot, lol) & if we'd told them b4 hand they would've chickened out & missed a lot of fun. - NcMoM  17.1 #141 9:10AM
Ride everything, eat everything, drink everything, have a blast. Don't miss Fantasmic, Wishes, Illuminations, parades, character meet & greets, Dole Whips at Aloha Isle in MK...the list is endless! Definitely do the dining plan & make your reservations early. The better restaurants tend to book up fast. Do your research. Order the Disney planning DVD from Disney.com. Two sites I use for planning my trips are allears.net & wdwinfo.com. - Tinkerbell1265  384.6 #9 10:39AM
We have the dining plan, and I've already booked Crystal Palace for lunch at MK and a character lunch at AK. Any suggestions for Epcot and DHS? - eeyorefan107l  274.9 #17 1:13PM
Teppan Edo @ EPCOT; SciFi @ DHS. - SueBoo  18.6 #133 1:18PM
Brown Derby, and Prime Time Cafe at HS. As for EPCOT, go to whatever country that interests you. They each have there own unique experience. - PixieDust76  74.1 #60 1:23PM
Oh, and don't forget to try free samples of soda from around the world at Club Cool in EPCOT! :) - PixieDust76  74.1 #60 1:25PM
I agree...Brown Derby in HS or Prime Time. Epcot...Rose & Crown, LeCellier, Marakkesh,,,yummy! - Tinkerbell1265  384.6 #9 2:17PM
That's a tough question to answer, everyone likes different things and there's no way you can do it all. My best suggestion is check out a few GREAT websites (I recommend allears.net) and get ONE good book that tells you more about the rides and dining experiences. If you have kids do the Pirates and Pal Fireworks Voyage, it will not disappoint. - DizneyGirl  382.4 #10 2:19PM
Eat at the bakery in France, don't forget you get a dessert with each quick service meal, get to the parked first thing when they open, wear Disney tshirts and buy Mickey ears :) - mzdisnee  231.0 #20 2:19PM
Akershush in Epcot is great for princesses! We also did the Bibbidi Bobbidi boutique. Totally worth the money. The garden grill in Epcot is also really good. They have mickey and chip and dale there. Also mama Melrose in dhs is good. We just got back from our first trip and it was amazing. The websites are really helpful for planning. Allears is good also wdwinfo has message boards full of helpful advice. I had not been for years but I researched so much, that I planned a perfect vacay for my family's first trip together. - Cydsmom  23.1 #122 11:46PM
Wow! Thanks everyone for all the great info!!! I'm taking my daughter and 2 grandkids with me (ages 1 and newborn). I'm not sure how much fun they'll have, but I can't wait to see the look on my granddaughter's face. - eeyorefan107l  274.9 #17 6:22AM
Fantasmic, Haunted Mansion, Great Movie Ride, Tower or Terror, Soarin. - UppityPrinceChristian  258.8 #18 12:07PM
