I got my girls Halloween costumes in last week from England ( Granny sends them from the London Disney store, for some reason the quality of the dresses are much better and fancier than here) well the Tangled dress is just great, but the Jesse costume for my 20 month old is big. She has such short legs ( like me) that she cant walk in the pants. I was thinking of just using the shirt and trying my skills to make the pants out of some old jeans and cow print fabric. I can't sew but I can hot glue gun.. Lol do you think glue gun would hold?
Go to a micheals or Joanns and get "stitch witchery" it makes anything an iron on! I used it to make "patches" for my daughters bookbag, it worked wonderfully! Good luck! - amajam  7.6 #237 8:45AM
I made my daughters Jessie costume last year I bought a white shirt and added the yellow fabric with red sequins and cow print fabric and made the chaps fringe and all and we bought the Jessie hat at the Disney store. I dont think a hot glue gun will do the trick. But Joann does carry wonder under, you use and iron to "glue" two pieces of fabric together. I would use old jeans and buy the cow print fabric, use the wonder under and it will be just fine. If you lived in Colorado, I would sew it for you. Good luck. Thanks for the info everyone. I love home made costumes the best but I can never say no to Granny. I think it will look way better with true jeans and cow hide print . The hat is way to big so I am going to make te yarn hair to help it fit better. I will have to post pictures of my work. Thanks - cheekymouse  34.9 #91 4:27PM
