The opportunity to work for a company like Disney doesn't come around for everyone so I say go for it. If you know what you want to do in life and it coincides with something Disney has going/supports why not take a shot at it? Take it from me. If I can work there for 7 1/2 years then have it taken from me, and be tossed away into what amounts to Davy Jones' Locker. Then strike a deal to never gain any of my career back just so I can go to WDW again, I think you'll be just fine working here! Trust me, if anything, you'll get a sense of deep respect for what goes on behind the scenes to make everything happen. Consider the college program. My son did a 3 month stint and loved it. It gave him a chance to make the magic for others! He moved to orlando in january and loves it.
