I really can't decide what to do. We want to fly from the UK and visit Disney for 2 weeks. Just found out the wife is expecting our 1st baby.
We planned to come beginning Oct, but baby will be 4 months old. We want to visit before 2013. So we could visit before thanksgiving (5 months old) or Dec.
We don't want it too cold to go to the water parks, or miss out on parades ect. either, just worried the babies young age will cause stress! or is 3 months really going to make a difference?
Congratulations. What part of the uk? My hubby is from Manchester. I think oct would be fine. The weather will be good you can still swim not too hot for the little one and the flight for the baby at 3 months is easier than at 5 months . Also gives you the chance to get the grove of traveling with a child and Disney with a child. You will have a blast no matter what. - cheekymouse

I agree with cheekymouse! October would be a great time, it's so humid in Fl that it will still be hot enough to go to the water parks and the other parks are really fun to go to during the October season! - Evangeline

It's great you will have help but as for the flight it will be way easier when younger and they why he/she will sleep and suck on the bottle or breast during take off and landing and it won't hurt babies ears. My 5 yr old is a great flyer but my little one we didn't get her on the plane young and she is a handful on the flight to the point we haven't taken her to the uk just because of the flight is almost 20 hours. The flight to WDW will be her test for our uk flight. - cheekymouse

We took one of our children when he was 4 months old in October. It was a great age for him to go. The weather was great not too hot or cold for him. I carried him a lot of time in a beco carrier and it was a great time for all. You should definitely come and bring him or her. Congratulations! - disneyrunmom

Our newborn will be 4 months when we go in January. It's a family reunion so we'll have lots of help. Can't pick a more family friendly place for babies first vacation - timonT
