Hi everyone! I've been lurking for a while, decided to post because (a) you all seem super nice and (b) we are going to WDW for the first time in December!!! We go to DL more since we can drive there, living in Colorado, and i've been a member of the DL lounge for a while. We are suuuper excited about going to WDW!! A little overwelmed as well, since it's so much bigger!

Welcome!! WDW is fantastic there is sooo much to do so read up and learn as much as u can. I have not been to DL so I can't compare but I have been to WDW many times. - toogrumpy  101.5 #48 10:30PM
Welcome! I lurk the DL lounge and am overwhelmed by its size. The only walking between places you can do is Epcot, DHS, swan&dolphin, boardwalk, and yacht&beach club; poly and TTC, GF and MK, and Comtemporary and MK. Transportation is very convenient, though you can wait nearly an hour for a bus from PI to PC in the pouring, blowing rain (as I have learned from experience). Buses, monorails, and boats are available. I reccomend using monorails and boats AMAP, asthey are more fun and scenic. Buses are just like standard city bus. Allow 45 minutes transportation in the middle of the day, and hour in the early morning, and two hours at night (tons of people coming back from parks, can take 45-60 minutes just to get on a bus). Any more questions just ask:) have fun! December is sooo fun! We may go that time too. Epcot is super neat (world showcase especially) at xmastime, Osbourne family spectacle of dancing lights is sooo neat, complete with snow! - C-Ticket  37.2 #87 10:35PM

Thank you all for the wonderful welcome! We are staying at the Port Orleans French Quarter. We've been getting tons of info on another site, and it's really helped us with all the restaurants, there are SO many! We know the ins and outs of DL, nothing about DW, but i'm sure we will learn!
