Jan 1, 2014 4:14 PM  WDW Talk Land
More trip planning today. Decided I'm not taking my kiddos out of school for trips anymore. So early June is in the works. ADRs are: Raglan Road, Be Our Guest, 50's Prime Time and Sci-Fi Dine-In. Sci-Fi is the only repeat, so excited for 3 new experiences!

We had both lunch and dinner at BoG (thanks Shari!) and my mom decided it is her new favorite WDW restaurant! I assume their menu offers options for your family's diet restrictions? - CollegeDisneyKnowledgeGrad  1450.4 #3 4:25PM
It's my fav, too!! 👊 - mrsincredible  1317.7 #4 4:42PM
Tiffany that's the great thing about Disney, all the restaurants have something my girls can eat. - DizneyGirl  967.5 #8 4:47PM
That's so great!! I'm so glad Disney thinks of all the needs of their guests. You'll love BOG!! We did!! - BagGal  345.2 #25 5:13PM
Sounds like a great trip! - goofygal  11658.9 #7 6:46PM
Great restaurant choices! And June just isn't that far down the road!! - jacdanfan  12150.4 #6 9:07AM
We leave in 148 days, however, if we have not snow days to make up, we'll be going a week earlier. I wanted to go in September so bad, the crowds are non existent, but it just didn't work out for us. - DizneyGirl  967.5 #8 10:26AM
You'll love BOG! And, we had a good time in early June. Hot, but light crowds. - mrsincredible  1317.7 #4 4:41PM
And rain ;) I don't mind the heat. Last June was not bad for crowds but more crowded than our normal September trips. Can't wait!! - DizneyGirl  967.5 #8 4:49PM
You'll be find. - 5disneylovers  1160.6 #6 4:56PM
It poured on us two days that trip... was that when we met? We went so many times I can't remember, haha. Oh that rainy MK day. It poured buckets that day! - mrsincredible  1317.7 #4 5:01PM
Yep we met up in the rain. - DizneyGirl  967.5 #8 5:10PM
Yep, I remember now... next to Phiharmagic... I was in my Poncho Warrior get up, haha - mrsincredible  1317.7 #4 5:43PM
Yep, made for a cute photo! - DizneyGirl  967.5 #8 5:55PM
We had lunch at BOG right after it opened and it was amazing! Of course, all our trips to Disneyland we rarely ate in the parks so our WDW trip was our first time eating all Disney, all the time...I'm officially spoiled and will never go back! - singleprincess  71.8 #4208 4:50PM
Glad to hear you liked it so much, I'm so excited about going. - DizneyGirl  967.5 #8 5:10PM
Longer trip too. You'll enjoy it. Wish you were going in aug so I Could meet you. For Nov I'm dreading pulling them out if school. It will probable be our only time doing so. - 5disneylovers  1160.6 #6 4:55PM
Patricia I wish we could meet up too! Good luck with the November trip, I agonized over pulling the kids out in September, but did it three years in a row. - DizneyGirl  967.5 #8 5:12PM
I'm so excited for you!! This March trip will probably be the last time I pull my girls out of school. My older daughter will be in middle school in the fall, so that is why we are taking a spring trip instead of our usual November one. Like you, I don't want to take her out of middle school. Love your food choices!! What are you planning next? Thinking about your FP+ choices? - BagGal  345.2 #25 5:10PM
I'm not sure we'll be offered FP , I need to call and find out. - DizneyGirl  967.5 #8 5:56PM
Yay, your going to love all the restuarants , we fell in love with raglan road this past trip :) - tracsant  1502.5 #2 5:43PM
I think it was your posting about it that made me want to try it. You going to go this June? Would love some meet ups. - DizneyGirl  967.5 #8 5:57PM
It really is great , I'm not too sure what our travel plans are yet this yr, you know I would love to hang out again , you have become such a good friend to me - tracsant  1502.5 #2 6:50PM
Raglan Road is one of our favs. Be sure to save room for the bread pudding!! It's like none other. - MicheyMouse  359.4 #664 5:53PM
Thanks for the tip, saving room for dessert is always so hard! - DizneyGirl  967.5 #8 5:58PM
Yay! We r thinking if going early June too bc it's getting difficult to pull the kids out if sports and school. - shewsluvwdw  58.0 #99 6:26PM
I feel a meet up coming! - DizneyGirl  967.5 #8 6:31PM
I agree with not taking the kids out of school....we are deciding between August and Thanksgiving time next year. My kids this year missed 4 days, and it is tough now, because I feel like they can't even stay out of school sick. - ncjal  294.2 #28 7:27PM
I know exactly how you feel. My kids seem to get sick more than normal so they miss enough days without vacation. - DizneyGirl  967.5 #8 4:44AM
I agree don't think I'm taking my kids out anymore either.i felt school work was on my mind the whole trip. My son was in middle school this last trip. We are planning to go the last week of August 2015 going into Labor Day - Bakerjars  252.7 #37 7:40AM
That's a pretty good time to go, some schools have already started, so crowds are lower than most of the rest of the summer. Our school usually starts August 14th or 15th - DizneyGirl  967.5 #8 8:07AM
Good to know thanks our school starts after labor day. Do you know is this a time frame for free dinning? - Bakerjars  252.7 #37 8:38AM
From what I find history doesn't show there being free dining the last weekend of August. There is 5% to 30% off room only though. Take a look at this website for more details: http://www.mousesavers.com/historical-information-on-walt-disney-world-resort-discounts/ - DizneyGirl  967.5 #8 10:23AM
I have the school thing going on with my gs - here parents are fined for taking kids out of school. I was planning July but just found out that because Easter is late this year he has holiday from April 4th. I know Easter is busy busy but what about the 2 weeks before? - rink2  265.9 #33 8:12AM
The week of March 23rd doesn't look too bad on the crowd calendars - mostly 4, 5, and 6 on a scale of 1 to 10. The week of March 30th the same. - DizneyGirl  967.5 #8 10:25AM
DD loved 50s Prime Time Cafe when we were there in 2012!! The Dad and I have ressies at BOG in 93 days for dinner and I can't wait! - Jseargent  87.3 #79 6:24PM
Can't wait to hear how you like it! - DizneyGirl  967.5 #8 6:35PM

So from the looks of it, there is not even one app made for those of us on android. You know there are millions of people who do not own iPhones. Its kind of rediculous these days not to offer an android version of apps. Would love to help this site grow by donating, but I see no point in that when there appears to be no intrest by the app builders here to support android. I mean how about atleast a partialy functional app so we can feel that the android users are even wanted as a part of the mousewait community. I see lots of requests and sad posts about no android, but dont see any replys by the site to the fact that anyone is even working on it.I've checked back here every so offten to see if there is anything for android users, but never bothered joining until today.I just wanted to rant a little, and now I am done.Unfortunalty, at this point I think I am officaily giving up on mousewait. Thanks for reading  and understanding my frustrations ( i hope ) and please everyone........Have a Disney-tastic day!Mark - molney14u  0.1 #105840 11:05AM
I have an iPhone and an old droid. I use the old droid for wait times when my iPhone can't connect and it works fine. There's so many droid phones to have  separate apps for but I hope android makers would start using the basic same code and security but I'm probably wishing on a star for that . I miss my droid but a lot of apps don't work the same.  - secretagentangel  6436.1 #20 8:10PM
I have the countdown and I love it! - tree320  0.6 #0 9:26AM
Doesn't everyone have a countdown clock on the top of one of their pinball machines?  Unfortunately mine is blank because our DL trip was weeks ago :( - awhittle  0.0 #127449 10:15AM
That just means it's time to start planning! 😀 - AngiMouse  104.9 #3566 1:02PM
