Well . . . trying to plan our 2014 trip. Can't decide on June or September. June we can do 2 weeks, September would be 1 week. I don't really want to take my middle school child out of school anymore. September is significantly less crowded, that's really the only reason we are considering September! Also, could I wait until September? LOL! Any tips or words of wisdom?

If it was me I would go for the longer visit. - Pooh147856  193.3 #40 2:51PM
I think I'd go for the longer trip! - mrsincredible  916.6 #4 11:38AM
REALLY leaning this way! - DizneyGirl  658.3 #7 12:13PM
We went last June, it was busier but not horrible and I think with twice the time you will be fine and have more time to relax. Enjoy the pool and hit a water park or two - Pixarprincess  539.4 #327 11:41AM
We did June last year too :) We LOVED going for 2 weeks, and it wasn't near as busy as I though it'd be. We went to the ocean and to the Typhoon Lagoon and golfed, was nice to do things outside the parks! - DizneyGirl  658.3 #7 12:13PM
I would want the longer trip as well, but September WAS really nice as far as crowds! We took the kids out of school for 4 days, and I won't do it again. It was too hard on them (10th and 6th grades) - ncjal  214.8 #34 2:09PM
Nicole, I LOVE September, it is great, isn't it. My daughter will be in 6th grade next year and she's in advances classes too which I think they miss even more when they are, maybe not? Anyway . . . I think 4 days would be tough on her and I hate to put her in that situation. Wish they were young again, :) - DizneyGirl  658.3 #7 2:46PM
Well the longer trip gets my vote. Is your temp at home the same as that at Disney in June ? Mine is so I don't mind being there in the summer. - 5disneylovers  911.6 #5 2:40PM
Patricia - It's a bit warmer in June at Disney, but that's not an issue for me, I LOVE warm temps. I did notice wait times were longer in June, which I didn't care for, but if we are there longer, it shouldn't be a problem. Maybe fasspass+ will be the hook up? Haven't used it yet. - DizneyGirl  658.3 #7 2:47PM
Yes I'm going to try them band thing cause I was out voted ha ha - 5disneylovers  911.6 #5 3:00PM
I don't like things on my wrist, we'll see if I like the bands! - DizneyGirl  658.3 #7 5:25PM
We loved the bands. It really helped us get on the busy rides. However, I'm unsure if they offer them if you stay offsite. I hope so, but they weren't in Sept. Is everyone getting them now? - ally  509.2 #11 6:02PM
All things considered, I'd choose a longer June trip. We went in June a couple of years ago for the Star Wars Weekend and it wasn't terrible. The extra magic hours go late into the night and the crowds aren't bad then or until after lunch. - ally  509.2 #11 4:12PM
Also, when we went in September lady year, it was free dining and I really think there were more crowds for that reason. I never felt like the crowds were super low. They were maybe 20-30% lower that June, but hours were shorter and restaurants much harder to get into. - ally  509.2 #11 4:19PM
You have a good point, hours were shorter for sure! I was loving June when we could stay longer, especially at Animal Kingdom. - DizneyGirl  658.3 #7 5:26PM
Yes, AK closed at 5:30 or 6:00 every day. - ally  509.2 #11 6:00PM
Would love the longer trip!! - DisneyLisa78  41.2 #104 4:13PM
This past June was our first time staying 2 weeks (13 days), we loved it. This year if we go in June it might be 10/11 days, instead of the 13. - DizneyGirl  658.3 #7 5:27PM
Yay for starting to plan, I guess 2 weeks are better than 1 and you like the heat so June might work better for you:) - tracsant  1027.0 #2 6:54PM
Love the heat! I already have BOG reservations! Cuz you never know!! - DizneyGirl  658.3 #7 7:09PM
I would def go on the longer trip. We have a middle schooler and she was out a week due to pneumonia. It was difficult to catch up. Whatever you choose, have a great time! - HandMeAChurroImmaFaint  4404.3 #20 8:04PM
Plus, I bet it would be more fun for your kids, not worrying about making up homework. - ally  509.2 #11 9:43PM
September. Better weather and crowds. Feel like it would be a better quality vacation and you could save your money for a later surprise trip!! - jacdanfan  7360.2 #5 4:14AM
I do love the lack of crowds in September! That's what is making my choice a little tough! - DizneyGirl  658.3 #7 5:22AM
Ughhh tough choice. I like September but I like the 2 week's. - yessy  199.8 #36 5:31AM
