It's kind of like having a little map on your phone of each park where you can star your favorite attractions, restaurants, and (at least for the Downtown Disney map) shops. In addition, you can also find routes to get to attractions, find characters, and look at all the modes of transportation you can use to get to your destination i.e. buses, monorail, boats. I believe you can also book reservations at restaurants with the app, though it's not as easy as doing it online. Plus, there's a Disney trivia game to play if you're bored. All in all, it's a great app to download if you're relatively new to Disney and are home-away-from-homesick for the Happiest Place on Earth! °o° - Jazzes92  6.5 #274 1:40AM

I almost forgot! You can also look at wait times that are synced with the boards outside of the attractions. And before anyone says anything about only seeing "open 9:00am-10pm" or "moderate wait" instead of actual times, you have to turn your location on and be in the park you're looking at. Remember to turn your location off when you're not using DPMM because location on will drain your battery! - Jazzes92  6.5 #274 8:57AM
