We're thinking of heading to WDW sept 2014. Does the free dining make the crowds worse? We dont eat quick service, so not worried about reservations.

Maybe I can go with you ? - 5disneylovers  1152.5 #6 1:59PM
Lol take me too! - kayxobelle  231.5 #38 2:41PM
We will find out. We're able to get in all the restaurants we wanted to and a fancy suggestion to Narcoossee for our anniversary since the castle was booked that evening. But seem to be a lower crowd time when we were doing crowd research (which can change anniversary date and wanted to go for our anniversary) - TinkTinkTink  262.2 #33 7:36PM
No not really, just hard to get in to restaurant. We usually go in mid sept every year and the crowds are low along with wait times - mmddgp  948.8 #7 11:23AM
Thank you! I've only gone in May and January - timonT  410.5 #20 11:29AM
We were there September 2012 & the crowds were very low. Most rides were 10 - 20 minute standby line. - perdita  71.2 #86 11:45AM
I've read that the middle of September has the lowest crowds! - rlpologal89  15.3 #199 11:47AM
We have been in Sept of 2010, 2011 and 2012. We went the week of Labor Day, and the crowds were the lowest I've ever seen them. I've been in March, May/June, August and November. Some rides were walk on and the busy rides were a max of 20 minute waits. Last Sept visit (2012) it was a bit busier than 2010 & 2011 though. It was nice not to have to wait for rides and meet and greets. - DizneyGirl  936.0 #8 12:18PM
Hi I'm headed to WDW this August (19 - 24) which is the week most od the kids in Florida start school. In your opinion is thia usually a good time for lower tha normal crowd volumes? - Winniethepooper  215.0 #1801 1:57PM
According to crowd calendars the week you are going does die down to about a 6 out of 10. You'll have some longer waits for the popular rides, but it couldn't be bad. - DizneyGirl  936.0 #8 7:27PM
* shouldn't - DizneyGirl  936.0 #8 7:28PM
We go in September every year and it's fine! Just make ur ressies at 180 days and u will be fine! - shewsluvwdw  58.0 #98 1:37PM
Same here. We did October last year though and it was much busier than free dining in September. We said September from now on! - girlonfire  54.1 #102 7:37PM
Yea! Sounds great! Last 3 visits have been family reunions in January, so we want to go when it's warm enough for water parks this time. Without kids in school we're a little more flexible. (That's not to say I won't pull them out for something as important as Disney in the future!) - timonT  410.5 #20 8:47PM
