I'll be there with my niece, nephew and parents for three days...Any advice on what we will be able to see/do? Thanks in advance everyone for the info...

Are you staying on property , if so take advantage of the extra magic hrs , they will help out for short time frame, the new fantasy land is great and was a huge hit with my niece so I would definitely say go to MK , Animal Kingdom is big but kids love it and there is so much to do there, whatever questions you have feel free to ask, hope you have a blast:) - tracsant  912.3 #2 6:20AM
Unfortunately we are not. We will be staying at the Embassy Suites, I guess close to DT Disney, The plus is that with our tickets we have access to the WDW transportation system. Thank you very much for the info. I will probably have many more questions =) - FrankyHLYWD  219.8 #1576 8:26PM
Try to see what's different than DL: Tower of Terror, Expedition Everest, Hall of Presidents, EPCOT! - goofygal  6139.3 #11 6:27AM
Thank you goofygal :) My co-worker told me the same exact thing today. Wish we would have booked a few more days. What the heck was I thinking? LOL - FrankyHLYWD  219.8 #1576 8:27PM
Ak & MK can each be done in a day or better, Epcot takes the longest !! You want be able to see & do everything so don't try !!!! Do your must sees first !!!! - skcanfield  468.0 #12 6:35AM
skcanfield what would you suggest as the must see attractions? I have been looking on youtube at many of the rides hahaha I think I am going a little nuts hahaha - FrankyHLYWD  219.8 #1576 8:30PM
Make sure to do park hopper tickets! You'll probably want a full day a magic kingdom and the other days you can visit different parks! While in MK I would ride space mountain or big thunder mountain first since they are the most popular. In MK I would eat at cosmic rays and be our guest! In animal kingdom the rides I would go to first are Everest and the safari ( animals are more active in the morning) and I would also eat at Flame tree BBQ! In EPCOT I would hit soarin first and then test track. My favorite place to eat in EPCOT is in France! At Hollywood studios I would run and get fast passes for toy story mania and then go straight to Rockin Rollar coaster and tower of terror! I hope you have a great time! - amandapanda3  38.9 #104 6:42AM
amandapanda3 YES! Heard and read so much about be our guest, can't wait to try it. And you can never go wrong with BBQ. If it's anything like DL's BBQ then I'll be in good shape. I think I am more excited than my two nephews hahaha =) - FrankyHLYWD  219.8 #1576 8:33PM
When will you be going? The area you are staying in is very close to DTD but with only 3 days it might be hard to get a chance to see it. What kind of tickets do you have. How old are your niece and nephew - mmddgp  374.7 #18 8:36PM
mmddgp We leave here (CA) on 7/12 at night and return on 7/17 Our first full day will not be until Sunday. I am hoping that we can get a few hours in on Saturday night. Which park would you recommend for Sat evening? I found a 5 day park hopper for the price of 3. I don't know what I was thinking when we booked this trip... LOL... I should have booked at least a 4th day. I guess we will have to go back next year. My niece is 14 and my nephew is 7 I know they will have us running around all day and night hahaha - FrankyHLYWD  219.8 #1576 8:44PM
MK is opened the latest till 11. I probably would go there since you are on a tight schedule. Maybe even to take in the fireworks ant the parade then the next day on Sunday you can start at Epcot and take monorail to MK to take in the 300 parade and finish off the day riding rides. It's easier to get on some of the rides during parades and fireworks. Then you can do AK during the day and catch illuminations at Epcot at night. That's great ages for your niece and nephew they will have a blast. Do you have any dinning plans. You are going to have so much fun and your right too bad it's not a little longer thee is so much to see and do there - mmddgp  374.7 #18 9:04PM
Thank you very much tracsant goofygal skcanfield and amandapanda3 for all the great info! - FrankyHLYWD  219.8 #1576 8:37PM
If it were me...I'd do half a day at AK/half at HS...AK has a safari ride that's really fun and Everest is AWESOME! (Nothing like either one at DL) at HS ride TOT...its different than DCA's! also rockin rollercoaster! I'd do a day at MK and a day at Epcot (my favorite park at WDW :))Epcot is amazing! The world showcase is just awesome! Soarin is the same, test track is a blast! It's a little more time consuming and more difficult to park hop at WDW than at DL. Make sure to make dining reservations...unlike DL you need reservations at many restaurants. However, some you can just check at the hostess podium day of and possibly get seated with a little wait. Our favorite places are: MK: be our guest, Tony's and Crystal Palace. Epcot: Teppan Edo in Japan. HS: Sci Fi dine in. Also...it's very hard not to compare DL and WDW...I had a lot more fun when I just appreciated each park for what it offers :) I hope you have magical time! WDW is a lot of fun!!! - brittandkell  347.7 #584 8:52PM
Thank you for all the great info. I did make reservations for one of the nights at the 50's Cafe...I still need to look into other great places to eat. - FrankyHLYWD  219.8 #1576 7:21PM
have a great time - Hendizl  2387.8 #43 11:25PM
Thank you! - FrankyHLYWD  219.8 #1576 7:21PM
Well, prioritize. You can't see and do everything in 3 or 4 days. A lot also depends on if you are planning future trips too. If doing as much as you can is your first priority than limit your dining to quick service meals. Table service restaurants can take up a lot of time, you may just want to eat on the run. I'd advise trying to park hop every day. Use extra magic hours to stretch the day. One park in am and another in pm. Try to take a nice break in between, a nice swim at the resort. It will be hot and humid. Lots of sunscreen and hydrate. Try to walk as much as you can to get your legs in shape before you leave. WDW is 47 square miles, twice the size of Manhattan. You can fit all of Disneyland inside the lake at Epcot. Yes, WDW is huge. We have walked up to 20 miles in a single day there. And it will rain, almost everyday, plan accordingly. Have a great trip. Post pictures when you can and have fun! Expedition Everest is a must! Great theme, queue, and ride. - jacdanfan  6243.7 #10 5:40AM
Hahaha I have started running again just so I that I can keep up with the kids...I did make one reservation. I have a strange feeling that we will be going back...So excited! Less than 2 weeks to go.. - FrankyHLYWD  219.8 #1576 7:24PM
I agree with brittandkjell. As for reservations call now, or as soon as you get there, um... Better call now. Try eating a late lunch instead of dinner it is generally easier to get, food is similar, and it is faster. Eat breakfast at hotel, and snack at dinner. - Betsyboo  17.2 #163 5:45AM
Sounds like a great idea! Thank you . And since our hotel offers free breakfast that will help out and allow us to have an even better lunch/dinner. - FrankyHLYWD  219.8 #1576 7:26PM
