Hi MW WDW! We are heading from Fresno California to WDW soon to check out the Disney parks. We will be there for 8-10 days in November. Is there anything you can recommend as a Must see or go eat... And how many days are recommended at each park? Your help is greatly appreciated so we can figure out our stay.

Hmmm 10days is enough! Are you going there after Veterans day? Coz you might be lucky to see the Christmas decor! If ur there during xmas, go see OSBORNE FAMILY SPECTACLE OF DANCING LIGHTS - otilegna  2861.0 #58 10:21PM
Yes the lights are amazing!!!!! They are at HS. - disneyworldsbiggestfan  72.0 #91 9:25AM
I'd recommend also doing a search because there are several threads with good info. - Westcoast  197.8 #2167 11:08PM
I'd say 2 for Epcot and MK and 1 for AK and Hollywood Studios. There's lots of places that are great to eat and there's the Tomorrowland terrace fireworks desert party which is great for a first timer there. - girlonfire  54.1 #107 3:50AM
Great family, you are going to have so much fun. 8-10 is a nice stretch. I to think 2 days for MK and Epcot. If you can do the mickeys very merry Christmas party. It is a fun time ( you will get mixed reviews on it) but we enjoyed it. If you have a fun and more ticket and you and your kids like video games, go to Disney quest DTD but allow yourself time it is huge inside. While down there eat at trex restraunt your kids would love it. If you have the dinning plan, some some character dinning you can go on Disney website and see who is going to be there and book your favorites. See all the parades and fireworks at all parks. Happy planning! - mmddgp  1852.7 #2 5:27AM
MK~ Crystal Palace,Liberty tree, BOG (if the kiddies are not picky like mine) HS~Sci Fi, prime time Epcot~ so many to choose from any of the restaurants. Check out the menus...the resorts also have some great restaurants! - justGoofin  166.3 #57 5:31AM
I would recommend 2-3 days at each park. I always do hoppers and frequently do 2 parks in a day. Just remember, everything is really spread out (not like DLR at all) so you need to allow for plenty of travel time. Make time to resort hop at some of the deluxe resorts too! The Contemporary, Grand Floridian, and Polynesian are all on the monorail and the Boardwalk is at Epcot's back door. Most of all, have fun! When in Nov are you planning to go? - CollegeDisneyKnowledgeGrad  1479.5 #6 5:33AM
Oh, I can't forget my favorite restaurant, Boma! Besides the food being fantastic, it's an excellent excuse to visit the Animal Kingdom Lodge and enjoy sunset from their private savanna! - CollegeDisneyKnowledgeGrad  1479.5 #6 6:25AM
Must sees : Illumination at Epcot , Fantasmic at HS, Osborne Lights if they're up & the resorts. Places to eat : Flame Tree Barbecue, Whispering Canyon , Cape Mays - skcanfield  595.0 #14 8:09AM
Your going to have a lot of time to do whatever you want. :) I would try and spend some time at the pool if you can. We never have time to do that and always say we wished we did. AK and HS is probably a full day. Ak for food we usually just do quick service there except last time we went to Yak & Yeti. HS as stated above Sci fi and Prime Time are really fun places for the kids and the food is good. I would spend most of my time between MK and Epcot. Like said above, Epcot has awesome places to eat at. For the kids they might like Jappan (Teppan Eden) Coral Reef (theres a huge aquarium inside for them to watch the fish or sometimes people in it. We also LOVE Canada's Le Ceilier the food is awesome!! Almost all places the people who work there try to make it fun for the kids. MK has the new Be our Guest which i have heard good things about, and we like the Chrystal Palace (buffet) For your daughter she might like eating in the castle with all the princess'.( Ive never eaten there though). Down Town Disney has some good places to eat such as T-Rex very fun for the kids pretty much the same food as the rainforest cafe. Hope that helps! Your going to have soooo much fun! - disneyworldsbiggestfan  72.0 #91 9:34AM
OMG i was thinking i was writing to another MW who has a daughter. Opps! - disneyworldsbiggestfan  72.0 #91 10:01AM
The Disney website is helpful to plan your meals, etc. I like having extra time at Magic Kingdom and EPCOT. You can pretty much see/do everything at Hollywood Studios and Animal Kingdom in a full day for each. Don't miss a park, all four are special and unique in their own way. We love them all! Our favs are MK, EP/AK tied for second, and HS third. Definitely take time to check out the deluxe resorts and ride the monorail (you can schedule dining at the other resorts as an excuse to go!) They have so many things to do at Downtown Disney as well as some miniture golf, etc. So much to do, you will not see it all while you're there even with that long of a stay, but you will get to see/do alot!! I have been more than a dozen times and I am still experiencing new things every time we go! Have fun and enjoy the planning process. Read everything you can. Allears.net is a good site, too. - mrsincredible  1433.7 #7 10:24AM
For the first time i say 10 days would be perfect. DHS will take about 1-1 and a half days, depending on how much you're interested in doing. AK will take about 2 on your first trip. MK and EPCOT I would reserve for Extra Magic Hour days, even though its hectic, it is well worth it to us! They will each probably take 3 days. That should leave u some relaxation days and DTD time. Have a great time! - ariel116  105.1 #71 1:04PM

It will stay the same until someone else gets enough points and quality to pass a couple more people. Even though two people on the list don't post much they still are ahead of the rest of us in quality points so they earned their spot. And Plumiegirl you post QC so you're qc score is high! πŸ˜„ - secretagentangel  11768.5 #9 8:33PM
when you are at the top you tend to move slower because its the same folks that frequent the parks most. So hence the top ten.. trolls ;) - Plumiegirl  10876.2 #11 9:55PM
