Just booked Sept 19-23 at SSR. First time at that resort. Only doing quick service plan since its so close. Have 5 and 22 mo. Any suggestions or tips for this resort?
I haven't stayed there since it was the Disney Institute. I loved how quiet the resort was! My favorite thing was taking the boat "home" from DTD at night. Oh, and they have a great spa too! - CollegeDisneyKnowledgeGrad  392.0 #6 8:54PM
The buses can be confusing since there are four stops. Just ask the driver when you get on the bus if you had any questions. If you don't have a car just tell them at check in and they will take you to your building and at check out just call bell service and they will pick up you and your bags. Eat at the parks or DTD, nothing great at SSR. Check out the new pool, zero entry will be great for the little ones. That's all I can think of right now! Enjoy! - Andrea84  289.2 #15 12:16PM
Stayed there once. It is quiet, but it's big. You may want to request a room close to the pool and "lobby" area so you don't have such a far walk. The downside of the resort is u have to take the buses, but there are multiple bus stops. In all it's a nice resort. Have a good time. - toogrumpy  101.1 #46 12:40PM
