Good afternoon friends! I am going crazy! Many of you know sept is my month to take my grand kids to Disney but this year my son said no more because of school. Then there was a window of opportunity for them to go but that is the week my youngest starts and if we move it up a week it is the week my grand daughter starts and the week before that they are all still playing ball. Oh what to do? This is them last year. How can I leave any of the home?

Aw! Well I know I couldn't leave any of them. Any chance just one that would have the least impact miss? I can relate though, my kids r 12 & 11 and we r going in sept too, but the older they get, the harder it is to pull them out of school. I think this coming trip may be the last sept trip for a long while! - Staceymouse  11.1 #239 11:00AM
A lot if people do it all the time. They are all honor students and we bring their class work with us so they don't fall behind. Disney can be very educational we incorporate learning about the animals at AK and the countries at Epcot I just wish there was a way - mmddgp  947.7 #7 11:07AM
Is it possible to move the trip to the summer? Perhaps that would be easier to get everyone together? - luvthemouse  277.9 #1076 11:02AM
First, I don't like to go in summer second they are all heavy into sports also so that is out also. Thanks for the suggestion πŸ˜ƒ - mmddgp  947.7 #7 11:13AM
Can you take them after they out of school in June? So sorry - 5disneylovers  1152.4 #6 11:23AM
Sorry. Did not see you hate the summer. - 5disneylovers  1152.4 #6 11:25AM
How about spring break with them and you and your hubby in sept? - 5disneylovers  1152.4 #6 11:30AM
The only bad thing is they are in 3 different school systems so spring break is different for all of themπŸ˜” - mmddgp  947.7 #7 12:16PM
That's tough !!! If you can't work it out with the kids then it just might be time to go on your own !!!! - skcanfield  563.2 #15 11:51AM
That's so sad for me! I have so many magical memories of them through the years, it just breaks my heart not to go with them. We already go once in march or April ourselves. The year before last we went in mid aug and the kids even said we didn't get to do a lot of things so we have all been spoiled by sept weather and crowds and cost. I may have to just take the 3 little ones and maybe do a long weekend for the 3 older ones during spring training. I guess we will see. Thank you everyone for all your suggestions - mmddgp  947.7 #7 12:14PM
I know how you feel I have a two week opportunity to go with my grand daughter between ball ending and school starting. So we go beginning of August every year. - Pooh147856  355.0 #24 11:57AM
I am so glad they are so active but sometimes they just don't have a break they go from one to another and my son is as patio ate of them not missing the ball as he is about them not missing school. Where did this monster come from? Lol - mmddgp  947.7 #7 12:18PM
We need to meet up when you go this August - 5disneylovers  1152.4 #6 12:31PM
Sounds good to me. - Pooh147856  355.0 #24 12:54PM
