We've been members for 10 years and it's been totally worth it for us! We live in Calif and would never be able to go every year or year and a half. Yes we still buy our park tickets, dining plan and plane tickets, so it's still expensive to go but if u love Disney it's so worth it!! We have also used our points to stay in Monterey and DL. However we can stay more nights if we use them at WDW. Since we do live so far away, we make it a big vacation and stay 11 nights! We have been DVC member for 4 years. It's worth it for us. We can vacation every year. When we are finish paying we will just have the annual dues and taxes to pay. We have stayed in hotels that we would not have been able to. We like the options being able to travel to other Disney proprieties. We bought ours 3 years ago and have been able to visit DL more than before we had it. We have been able to go twice a year, before we had the vacation club we were only able to go maybe once every two years. Also the taxes are deductible as a vacation home! - luvthemouse  20.6 #5000 11:24AM

Bought my almost ten years ago. So totally worth the investment that I have added on points several times now. We like bigger accommodations and a longer visit.
