Is anyone a Disney vacation member is it worth it we r really considering it?

I am! And I think it is absolutely worth it! The DVC rooms are bigger. And it lets us go to WDW more often. Our home resort is AKL. I say go for it and become a member - nodell111  166.4 #54 5:14PM
So worth it! You should talk to a DVC rep while you guys are down there and they can run the numbers for you and see if it makes sense for your family, without pressuring you to buy. We love DVC and already added on more points because we use it so much! - Andrea84  720.8 #10 6:11PM
I am! It was a good decision for me, but everyone's situation is different. I recommend you do the math (based on your situation and how you travel) and decide if its right for you. I love it! - CollegeDisneyKnowledgeGrad  1450.4 #3 8:57PM
I'm a DVC member to it's totally worth it. I've been a member since 2008 and my home resort is Animal Kingdom Lodge.love it u should ho for it. - yessy  233.5 #39 3:20AM
What is included in the DVC? Do you still have to buy park tickets? - dadwholovesdisney  68.3 #91 5:44AM
Yes. DVC is room only, but members do receive discounts on APs. - CollegeDisneyKnowledgeGrad  1450.4 #3 5:58AM
Thank you. - dadwholovesdisney  68.3 #91 6:03AM
We've been members for 10 years and it's been totally worth it for us! We live in Calif and would never be able to go every year or year and a half. Yes we still buy our park tickets, dining plan and plane tickets, so it's still expensive to go but if u love Disney it's so worth it!! We have also used our points to stay in Monterey and DL. However we can stay more nights if we use them at WDW. Since we do live so far away, we make it a big vacation and stay 11 nights! No way could we afford to stay that long without the membership!! - happygma2  78.9 #81 6:29AM
How much is it a year? - klperry07  11.9 #231 6:40AM
When you see the DVC rep they determine that based on where you purchase. Your payments are based on how many points you purchase as well as the location. Your deposit also determines your monthly payments. You can finance with them - 5disneylovers  1160.6 #6 6:53AM
Or finance for lower rates outside - 5disneylovers  1160.6 #6 6:54AM
We have been DVC member for 4 years. It's worth it for us. We can vacation every year. When we are finish paying we will just have the annual dues and taxes to pay. We have stayed in hotels that we would not have been able to. We like the options being able to travel to other Disney proprieties. Can use our points for non Disney vacation location as well - 5disneylovers  1160.6 #6 6:50AM
Although its a long commitment all your vhildren or who ever you deed the property to would only have to pay the taxes and and dues one the property has been paid. - 5disneylovers  1160.6 #6 6:51AM
Children - 5disneylovers  1160.6 #6 6:55AM
You can sell the property at anytime if you want - 5disneylovers  1160.6 #6 6:55AM
We bought ours 3 years ago and have been able to visit DL more than before we had it. We have been able to go twice a year, before we had the vacation club we were only able to go maybe once every two years. Also the taxes are deductible as a vacation home! - luvthemouse  277.9 #1109 8:24AM
Bought my almost ten years ago. So totally worth the investment that I have added on points several times now. We like bigger accommodations and a longer visit. Without DVC would not be able to go every year. Stop by a kiosk and schedule a visit. You will be glad you did. Only regret is I did not do it sooner. - Pooh147856  381.7 #23 9:29AM

MouseWait COUNTDOWN for iOS is here! Countdown the days to your next Disneyland or Disney World trip with our images OR your pics! Your Countdown also displays on Apple Watch and is beautiful on iPhone 6 screens. Secure the discounted launch price for a limited time.

So from the looks of it, there is not even one app made for those of us on android. You know there are millions of people who do not own iPhones. Its kind of rediculous these days not to offer an android version of apps. Would love to help this site grow by donating, but I see no point in that when there appears to be no intrest by the app builders here to support android. I mean how about atleast a partialy functional app so we can feel that the android users are even wanted as a part of the mousewait community. I see lots of requests and sad posts about no android, but dont see any replys by the site to the fact that anyone is even working on it.I've checked back here every so offten to see if there is anything for android users, but never bothered joining until today.I just wanted to rant a little, and now I am done.Unfortunalty, at this point I think I am officaily giving up on mousewait. Thanks for reading  and understanding my frustrations ( i hope ) and please everyone........Have a Disney-tastic day!Mark - molney14u  0.1 #105834 11:05AM
I have an iPhone and an old droid. I use the old droid for wait times when my iPhone can't connect and it works fine. There's so many droid phones to have  separate apps for but I hope android makers would start using the basic same code and security but I'm probably wishing on a star for that . I miss my droid but a lot of apps don't work the same.  - secretagentangel  6435.8 #20 8:10PM
I have the countdown and I love it! - tree320  0.6 #0 9:26AM
Doesn't everyone have a countdown clock on the top of one of their pinball machines?  Unfortunately mine is blank because our DL trip was weeks ago :( - awhittle  0.0 #127443 10:15AM
That just means it's time to start planning! 😀 - AngiMouse  104.9 #3566 1:02PM
Ours is blank too with no plans anytime soon. That's why I come to ☺️☺️☺️ - DisneyMom13  311.7 #874 7:30PM
