Anyone have any ideas on doing a quick yet "cheap" vacation to Disney? We were thinking of staying outside the park but never have b4 so I have no idea where to start. Any suggestions ?
Have you checked to what kind of specials disney is running, the value resorts are always pretty reasonable especially the all stars, never stayed off property, but staying off then means having to figure out shuttle services maybe not as convient as disney transportation , hopefully you can figure out a way to go:) - tracsant

Some friends of mine just stayed at the World Quest resort and loved it! They had a suite for 99 a night. Have you checked the value resorts on Priceline? My daughter and I stayed at Pop Century in Jan and LOVED it! I never thought to check Priceline but could've gotten the room for 20.00/night less by booking it there! Good luck!! Have a super fun time! - brittandkell

The downtown Disney resorts run some good deals too. They also have their own free shuttle service. - luvDW

We stayed at a private rental time share through VRBO.com ($60/nt) in Kissamee. (2 bed/2 bath with kitchen and laundry). Took the city bus which dropped off at transportation center. Made breakfast at the rental and packed lunches and carried a camelbak filled with ice water. - NikkiMickey

I've stayed off property twice and since we had a car, it wasn't too bad. I think once was a Hampton Inn and once was a Doubletree. We saved alot and that's why we did it. - ally
