I met a young princess today, she was probably around 9 years old. Although she was quite beautiful her crown would not stay in place because this young princess did not have any hair. She was dressed in full princess regalia, including her trusty steed (her wheel chair). She and her entourage were leaving the park for the evening. I asked how their day had been and they replied that it had be a terrific, wonderful day. We spent some time together talking and the princess’ mom tells me that due to the princesses' condition this will most likely be her last visit to the park. I asked if her day had been all that it could be and she replied “yes, however the princess was bit disappointed that although she saw some Disney princesses in the parade she did not actually get to meet any of them face to face". I asked them if they would do me a favor and allow the princess to pay a visit to President Lincoln before they left for the day, they agreed. This allowed 15 minutes for magic to happen, and…… it did. The princess and her family were the last to exit the theater. I caught up them and I spoke to the princess, I said “ your Majesty, word has reached our princesses that are visiting their kingdom today. They would be most please if you would grace them with a short visit” And with that we turned her around and she found herself in the company of Snow White, Cinderella and Belle. The four Princess had a great time discussing princess type things and exchanging autographs. When their visit was complete I escorted them towards the exit. The little princess look up at me and asked my for my autograph too. I was humbled but could not say no to a princess. As I was signing the book her mom said to me “we can’t thank you all enough” to which I replied “you already have”. Where else, I ask you, can you find this kind of magic?
