good afternoon friends! Ended up having to take my little girl to the doc today, was afraid she had strep but she has croup. They put her on a steroid, which she DOES NOT want to take....ugh!!! Anyway on a better not 2 days!! Final prep is happening and last minute cleaning!
My poor Brody has had the croup 3 times. He never had the steroids but his symptoms only lasted 2-3 days each time. After that he would just have cold like stuff, no horse raspy voice or cough. But I have a friend who does breathing treatments with her daughters each time they get it and I think the steroids too. Hope she feels better fast! - brodysmommy  243.7 #1064 2:30AM

They put her on a steroid for croup? When my son got it, it was just give him cough medicine, use a vaporizer, and keep him elevated while he sleeps. - Lelundrial  341.2 #429 4:24PM
Steroids are often given if the child has symptoms that are worse or longer than 3to 5 days. Steroids are usually recommended in such cases. Glad he was not hospitalized. Keep him calm and relax. Sorry. - 5disneylovers  343.6 #11 8:20PM
