Hi everyone, so the hubs and I are talking DL this yr for our anniversary , the big 10 , most of you know I have never been , he's from CA and hasn't been in over 20 yrs, so question # 1 , how many days do you need? I know it's 2 parks but is 4 days good or more? Thanks guys;)
You guys will have a great time! 4 days should be a good start to see most things. You can get same day reservations with the exception of a few popular places and there are a lot of good quick service options as well. The nice thing about DL is that you don't really have much to plan, just go and enjoy! If you plan on staying at the Grand Cali villas, book right at 7 months because they book up fast. 4 days is enough dont worry about dining most places you can walk right up and eat and it's not like wdw with all the fancy smanchy dinners lol but we have some gold restaurants but you can prob just make reservations the day before as far as rides you'll be fine you'll have time to do everything trust me I finish a park in like half a day haha when are you coming? Four days is plenty! When I was a kid, we would go for close to a week but spend 2-3 days at other area attractions (Universal, Knott's Berry Farm, etc.) Now we usually just do DLR and find 3 days are enough. - CollegeDisneyKnowledgeGrad

So 4 is enough to see and do most things , now is it like wdw where you absolutely need to make dining ? Because with this being the first time I'd rather not have to be tied down to any, sorry for the commenting my reply button isn't working - tracsant

@mzdisnee our anniversary is aug but I'm don't like the hot weather so we usually go oct or dec but if it def wont be oct so dec depending on price , maybe nov - tracsant

For the WOC, you can do a Dining Package (Picnic Package to give you a fastpass, Carthay Circle Dining for a preferred view). Also, yeah i will recommend to eat at Carthay, a Bigger Replica of the theater... Fantasmic is first come first serve spot... You can get a dessert party for it though... - otilegna
