Our last attraction, the Tiki Room. For once, the dole whips sounded awful! We came prepared for highs of 68-70 degrees (which were the predictions). So we only had T's and light jackets. We were so cold in the mornings and evenings! I broke down and bought some gloves. We wore a couple of shirts, extra socks and tried our best to stay warm. This is why dole whips didn't sound good. However, I spent lots of time in the Disney Starbucks with hot coffee. It was usually in the high 30's when we went out in the mornings and in the low 40's once it was dark. Next January, I will bring my cold weather gear!

I've experienced cold nights at DL before, it really does make it difficult to enjoy yourself if you're not prepared. We had a very wind and cold day at WDW once too. Now I like to always be prepared, just in case! - CollegeDisneyKnowledgeGrad  395.9 #6 7:35PM

That happened to us a few years ago when we went in dec. it was in the low 20s but when we called to verify our reservations the lady on the phone told us to bring warm stuff! We brought our coats and still froze! It was colder there then it was in Seattle wa!! I'm sorry you guys were freezing. :( - disneyworldsbiggestfan  35.3 #89 12:52AM
Sorry it was so cold for your trip. I've been wearing two pairs of socks, gloves, hat, scarf and a pair of 'skins' under my jeans and I was still cold. This is not typical - especially for several days. Hope you still had fun! - goofygal  2364.7 #27 9:33AM
