Greetings from California.. You guys have 2days to prepare for hurricane Kirk.. Quick question is there an easy way to get to Universal Studios from Pop Century? I'm guessing i should call a cab?

Just take a cab (to make your trip faster). To make it closer, just take a shuttle bus from Pop to Downtown Disney. Its closer to international drive. - otilegna  1745.5 #67 4:14PM
And yeah the route from the resorts to I-4 is kinda long - otilegna  1745.5 #67 5:39PM
Some hotels have a desk where you can set up a pick up from mears...there is a fee.. - islandgirl58  251.7 #25 1:51PM
Not sure, we always rent a car , I know some people rent just for a couple days , I think there is a car rental place somewhere on property but I'm not positive , and hey I survived superstorm sandy , I think I can survive hurricane Kirk , hopefully this one comes with a flurry of live park picks ( hint , hint) lol hope you have a wonderful trip:) - tracsant  912.3 #2 2:06PM
We used a Mears bus. It stopped at sea world 1st then to Universal. - DisneyLisa78  41.1 #102 2:11PM
Is it pricy? - disneyworldsbiggestfan  53.7 #88 4:37PM
Mears is probably your best option but we rented a car. Have fun! How long will you be there? :) - misseeyore  538.0 #314 2:45PM
Alamo has a rental place on property. They will pick you up and drop you off at your hotel. Prices were the same as off site when i booked a few months ago. Never checked on Mears prices. Good luck and let us know what you find out!! - kansasgirl  3.7 #653 3:17PM
I found my info on the Alamo website. - kansasgirl  3.7 #653 3:19PM
Taxis cost about $36 + tip for two people round trip a couple of years ago. I hope that helps. It cost about $100 for the day per person to get in. We were going to the Harry Potter area, plus the islands of adventure. - ally  506.0 #11 3:25PM
I don't recommend the Mears shuttle. They make multiple stops which eats up a lot of your time in the parks. I think something direct like a taxi is the way to go! BTW, welcome to the FLip side! - CollegeDisneyKnowledgeGrad  801.1 #3 3:41PM
We got mears van...we did stop at 2 near by hotels...can't beat the 15.00...by the time we got to universal the park still wasn't open... - islandgirl58  251.7 #25 3:55PM
I had priced a cab from AoA and it was around $45. I checked on Mears and it wasn't any cheaper. - Lelundrial  440.2 #418 5:47PM
Cab or mears depending in how many are going up-- mears is cheaper if there is one or two of you but if there is a group of you it is cheaper to get a service and split the cost. We do it twice a year. Who ever you get ask about round trip sometimes it is cheaper that way also. Have a great time - mmddgp  374.7 #18 7:44PM
Take the bus if available. Google maps will give you the route. Weekdays it's 4 bucks round trip. Weekend 8. Takes 45 minutes from DTD. Make sure you are 10-15 minutes prior to departure. Good price if you're on a budget. - jackskellington34  16.1 #171 7:57PM
Didn't even know there was such a thing. Thanks - mmddgp  374.7 #18 8:12PM
