My MouseWait RAK Story - Part 1. Once Upon A Time. Good news, we are ready to announce the winners, but first . . . I think a brief explanation of what we were attempting would be fun. The Rules. Only enter for yourself and mind your manners. And we encouraged all to enter every RAK. I developed a point system based on the rules. Everyone did really well and scored lots of points, but one person did end up with the most points. On Sunday I created a RAK Matrix (table with rows and columns) for each person who entered a RAK incorporating all the data from all 7 RAKs. We awarded one RAK to a MWer on DL (RAK 3), Tinkerbell1265 was the outright winner of RAK 6, and the person (to be named) who got the most points won a RAK. So that left four more winners to choose. Anyway, back to the point system. There was an overwhelming response to the RAKs and lots of points earned. I was going to write each person's name on a piece of paper for every point they earned and put into the hat. If you scored 15 points your name went into the hat 15 times (increasing the chance of winning). I came to realize I was going to have a hat with 500 names in it for only 4 RAKs. It was the Nightmare before Christmas. So, last night while laying in bed, staring at the ceiling looking for hidden mickeys I came up with an ingenious way to select the final four. Early this morning I created a shape, a drawing with a 1 pt rule. I overlaid the shape on to the RAK matrix. In the rows and columns of the matrix are dots awarded for each point earned. If the shape I created touched a dot, you won a RAK. Simple, huh? Now for some exciting news. The shape I created touched more than 7 dots! What does that mean? Stay tuned for Part 2. The Results.
