Ugh, what a day! On the eve of my vacay, I was literally brought to tears at work. Why is there always so much pressure on a person to get so much done before they take time off? Now, I am home and trying to shake off the stress. Thank goodness for you lovely people and my happy place -- helps more than you know!! 👊
Oh, sweet friend, I'm afraid you get some of this from your big sis, BagGal. When I worked full time, it was hard for me to enjoy vacations or days off because of all the preparations prior and all the catching up after. I would get very stressed, teary-eyed, frustrated. Even now that I only work pt, I was stressed before our trip. Had to make sure we had all the work the girls were going to miss, my class was in order, my volunteer duties at the school were all covered, etc, etc. I'm so sorry you had a stressful day, but you are not alone!! I'm so glad you took tomorrow off for packing, etc!! Now, your big sis is going to give you some advice. Pour yourself a glass of lemonade, go sit on the couch, pull out your laminated Disney plans, and think about all the fun your are going to have in just about 36 hours!!!!! You're going to Disney lady!!!!!! Wahooooo!!!! - BagGal

I'm so sorry to hear that. I had a lot of stress at work right before my vacation to. I had a lot of pressure on my to host a conference the weekend before, I had a job interview a few days before, and a full workload! I made it through, and so will you. I used to be a bank teller. And when I was working my last day before vacation, I was always soooo nervous that I would be out of balance. I put a lot of stress on myself. Thank goodness I'm not a teller anymore. - lghr
