REVIEW ***yachtsman steakhouse , this is a little late , I had the ny strip peppercorn brandy sauce and carmody potato gratin , the potato gratin was so delicious , so cheesy and the potatoes cooked just right not to hard or overcooked , the sharpness that carmody gives to the potatoes makes the whole dish and I'm not a huge fan of Au gratin , and I know it's said you can get a good steak anywhere and I live in ny but yachtsman is my favorite place here or there ,my steak was cooked to perfection , I didn't even need a knife , so tender it cuts like Buttah , no matter how full you are you will finish , and for dessert , peanut butter and pretzel gianduja cake with salted gelato and liquid ganache , there are not too many words to describe this lol it was my fave dessert the whole trip , it was not too rich or overwhelming , had a wonderful lightness and the perfect amount of sweet and salt ,we were told by our waiter that this is the last signature restaurant on property that makes everything from soup to nuts fresh , and it truly shows , we go just about every trip and if anyone has the chance I highly recommend going:)
