My students have been begging me to make them a Tie-Dyed Cheese Cake. Some of them got to sample one I made last year for a faculty lunch. I told them, "Do you know how much it cost to make one of those? An envelope (with $10) appeared on my desk Friday. It said, "Tie-Dye Cheese Cake...Anonymous Donor." So now I am making them a cheese cake.

It takes a lot of work and patience. Its been in the oven cooking for an hour and 15 mintues. Now it has to set in the oven (with the door propped) for another hour. You have to cook it in a water bath to prevent it from cracking. Then it has to cool another hour before you chill it for 24 hours in the fridge. - Experiment869  24.2 #116 7:23PM

Yum I've two since we've been home from our sept trip. One tie dye and one orange and brown with a brown spider on top for Halloween. For me hardest part is getting the batter to the color I want. Lucky students by the way!! - txdisneymomma  57.4 #64 8:36PM
