I have such a heavy heart! In 1992 my uncle who I adored and was a avid Disney world goer was going on another trip in 1993 were we interested on going. For the the next year he was our financial planner, banker and vacation planner. June 1993 came and we were able to make the trip. While we were there they were our tour guides and we were in awe of everything Disney. Back then there was no animal kingdom but there was discovery island and river country and typhoon lagoon which we loved. There was pleasure island and new years eve every night there and the comedy club which was so much fun. My aunt knew how to stretch your dollar. Took lunch to the parks and liqueur in miniture bottles in her purse to make mixed drinks with the soda she bought. Lol. We fell in love. And have been back every year since but not again with them. But today my uncle passed away and I am so sad but so happy that I had that time and connection with him. We could talk Disney for hours and just receintly called me for advice on a Disney trip. Thank you for allowing me to go on and on. I'm sure I will dream sweet Disney dreams of yesteryear I hope you have sweet dreams.
