I feel like this is kind of a dumb question but....why do people check in online 10 days prior to arriving. if it wasn't for this great site, i wouldn't even of known you can do it! we will be arriving we late at nite, possiblely early morning. Is there a benefit to doing this??? We leave in 11 days! Yay!!!
It's the best thing. You get in pick up you folder with the keys map and get out. Everything u do in the building is done prior to arrival. It easy and great. Do it. You will be glad you did - 5disneylovers

Ive never done it but apparently it saves you time once you arrive? Ive never had to wait long when i arrive at my hotelbut i guess if theres a big crowd when you arrive and you have checked in prior 10 days ago, i suppose it does ssave you time! - Boardwalkgirl

I did online check-in a few days ago. I've never done it before, so we'll see. Last trip, it did take a long time to check-in when we arrived at the resort. There was a long line, then we had to give the credit card info, wait for the computer, get our room assigned, wait for the computer, wait for the cards/room keys to print, etc. So, we'll see if this time goes faster... 6 more days!! - BagGal

Hi and that's not a dumb question , basically it saves time when you arrive , I've done a couple of times but I'm one of those annoying people that like to see exactly where my rm is lol and it never really takes me a long time to check in when I get there , but I guess for some it adds to the excitement of going so whatever your preference is ... We do it every trip. Never had an issue, always speedy check-in, and we always site-see the resort grounds afterwards. By the time we are finished, our luggage is magically in our room waiting for us! 🙌 - mrsincredible

We usually online check in, and usually is fairly quick in line, except last time we arrived a little earlier than planned but could get into the park while waited. Then our park ticket/room key allowed us to get into our room once they texted us our room number. So I guess it does make things a little quicker - TinkTinkTink

I checked in at AKL 10 days prior and as soon as I got there they were waiting for me in the entrance with my room key and all the info they give u when u check in. The only thing that was not ready was my room but I only waited 1 hr to get my room. - yessy

I tried it this year for the first time and it was wonderful. We had 2 rooms 8 guests. We arrived on the magical express at about 11am and was at Epcot by 1230. Our rooms weren't ready but all the room
Keys with our tickes were and when
We got home from the park@ 1030 our bags were in our rooms. Very nice. Have a good trip - mmddgp

Thank god we did it for our last trip! We had a group of 30 and our reservations were all screwed up! Those of us who did online got things fixed ahead of time, those who didn't spent a lot of time at the check in counter! - timonT
