Making Christmas cookies with my daughter. One of my favorite activities. As kid I looked forward to my grandma coming to our house and staying a couple weeks and we made cut out cookies every year and decorated them. - txdisneymomma  57.1 #64 1:46PM

Beautiful. We did not grow up celebrating Christmas. I have only started celebrating since I got married. So every year we each pick out and ornament. My tree is getting filled up. Ever since the kids were small they always got new pj s to wear to bed chrismas eve( have to look good for Santa) and now the tradition continues to the grand kids. Pjs are on, corn is sprinkled outside for Rudolph , fresh baked cookies and milk are left for Santa then chrismas morning all the kids and grand kids come to our house to open presents that were left at our house by Santa. I have one 5 yr old grandson that lives with me and he gets a magic text from Santa thanking him for the cookies and the corn for roudolph. Please add me for Txdisneymomma. Add me please so I can start adding girly stuff to the tree for brooklyn! :) one tradition is the day after thanksgiving we go to apple hill in placerville, ca, and we go and pick out our Xmas tree! I've done it since I was a kid and now I've continued the tradition with my kids! An this year I think I want to start a new tradition of opening new pj's Xmas eve! What a special RAK! Thank you!! Please add me. :) One of our traditions (one that my girls love the most) is our Christmas book countdown. Every year, I wrap 25 Christmas books, some old and some new. I write the a number on a tag on top of the wrapped book (1-25) and starting December 1st, we open one book per night to countdown the days until Christmas. My girls get so excited to see which book it is going to be and they can tell by the tags how many days are left until the big day! - BagGal  150.4 #39 5:21PM
The girls I work with spend a lot of time Christmas Eve making tamales and every year I tell them how happy I am that we didn't have that tradition.
