Hey we go in 6 days and I'm getting the final bits together for our trip. We are staying for two weeks my only concern is running out of money. Is it expensive to shop and buy snacks on site? We have the Disney dining plan so sit down meals are covered but snacking through the day may become expensive. So is it expensive?
Like the others said, you'll be surprised at the amount of food you get at meals we used some snack credits on water and had some left over. Of course that was before I heard of Dole Whips, the bakery, the candy apples and other goodies MWers have shown me here. Maybe I need more money!! Lol - lala03  43.2 #80 2:19PM
Depending on what ddp you got , they include snacks and you will be surprised at how much food you get with ddp we sometimes feel like we had too much lol as far as shopping that just depends on what you want I find that there is a lot that is affordable just depends what your looking to buy , no matter what you will have a blast:) - tracsant  604.8 #3 1:29PM
The dining plan also includes snacks. I found with the dining plan you get so much food that you don't want that many snacks. You can also shop near by at Win Dixie for extra snacks. - Pooh147856  17.9 #138 1:31PM
You will be fine with the dining plan.  As far as spending on extras, it's all up to how much you buy.  Just keep in mind most of the stuff in the stores can be bought at the Disney online store after you get home, there are some things that you cannot. - DizneyGirl  382.4 #10 2:04PM
We went to a shop at Down town Disney where they had affordable stuff. It was 2 years ago, I think they said nothing over 10 dollars - lala03  43.2 #80 2:24PM
If you have the DP you will have at least a sit down and counter service and snack. We always did counter for breakfast and sit down for dinner and tried to book it around 5-7. We packed with us granola bars, bags of nut and chips and other items that we could snack on in the middle to tide us over. Once the snacks are gone you have a little room to pack away your souvenirs. Two weeks that is awesome. Have a great time - mmddgp  187.4 #26 3:50PM

In Epcot go to Germany caramel shop or France to the bakery. Everything under $4 is on the DP. Most of the time on the menus it will have a little DP next to it. Enjoy!!! - mzdisnee  231.0 #20 8:22PM
