Ugh. I'm taking so much salt with this it burns. Apparently Carsland has been green lit for the Studios and at the same time, the Indy Adventure is coming. Both bits of news I'm not happy about. It's high time Disney does something ORIGINAL and NO! I don't want Indy adventure: Temple of the Forbidden Eye here. I want it in Disneyland only. I want to make the journey to ride it. Sorry. I'm just fed up with the "oh it's a smash hit here let's put it there" way of things that Disney does these days. Give it time...we'll see World of Color here too.

I don't really see anything wrong with it , there are so many things I would love to see from other Disney parks from aroun the world but the reality is wdw is the closest and cheapest for me to go to , I won't be going to dl anytime in the near future if ever and it's pretty safe for me to say I will never have the chance to go overseas so I like that I might be able to see some of these things in person , there are things I don't quite get like avatar land but I'm sure it will still look amazing even though I'm not a fan but like I said I look forward to whatever else they bring otherwise I and a lot others would never get to see it - tracsant  1495.7 #2 5:19AM
Disney is becoming "economically friendly" by doing this. I too think its great. Madden wont get on a plane for a zillion dollars and I am not driving to California. As a mother, I like this idea. - CinderellaPrincess85  194.6 #45 6:12AM
I with you, the only way I'll see these are if they come to Fl. WDW is most affordable for us to travel to. I see Indy's point, but for my family this works - perdita  71.3 #89 7:26AM
But how about those people on the Cali side. We travel to Florida because of ur abundant choices (EPCOT and Animal Kingdom). Radiator Spring Racers is like Test Track. The Main Street Electrical Parade is at WDW for now. It is really nice that instead of Cars Land, just put Toy Story Land because that is only available outside of the United States - otilegna  2692.3 #54 10:14AM
I get where you are coming from and I can only speak for myself , I just know that I won't be able to go to dl or dca anytime in the near future if ever and though I love seeing pics I would love to see certain attractions in person and whatever is brought to wdw would not take away me wanting to experience dl if the chance ever came but for me traveling to wdw is so much more closer and cheaper and being a dvc member dl only has one option so wdw is is easier to , as much as I would love to go to dl it's not in my budget so chances are I would never get to see Carsland , we still have some of the same attractions and I don't think it takes away I would be bummed if we didn't have some attractions just because other parks have them - tracsant  1495.7 #2 10:27AM
I'm a happy camper! My hubby will not get on a plane..and living only a couple hours away from WDW..Yay! - justGoofin  162.2 #56 12:10PM
Like u all I'm ok with it cause who knows when our family of 5 can get to cl hong king or where ever else Disney is located. It's not cheap to travel regardless of being a DVC member - 5disneylovers  1158.8 #6 12:48PM
The thing that is great about World of Color, is that they can constantly change it. And they've proven that this idea works. Something like Fantasmic! or Wishes, or Reflections of Earth, while all good, get stale after repeats. (Yes, I see Wishes a lot, but for photography reasons). But WoC is great because it keeps things fresh for frequent visitors. - IndyandMarion  1278.9 #5 1:15PM
tracsant, i feel for you. i have the opposite side then, It is kinda expensive for me to go WDW. but we will see. But i am really hoping for a Toy Story themed area here in the United States. - otilegna  2692.3 #54 1:16PM
I agree indy, when I first saw WoC it was just so amazing! It was original and west zone seats were awesome! Also I've watched videos of WoC before August 2011 and after that and there were changes which were really cool! True dl is expensive, I live in ny so it's kind of far but it's still fun to see something different - nodell111  166.4 #54 3:04PM
I completely agree! Financially, I cannot see myself being able to fly my family across the country to see DisneyLand ever. I am THRILLED to see some of their attractions coming to Florida! - ncjal  291.6 #28 5:18PM
Being from Cali here, i will say no for Cars Land in Florida. It is nicer to see Cars Land as Disneyland Resort exclusive - otilegna  2692.3 #54 9:21PM
Idk if it will stay like that. U never know with Disney. Lol - mickeynme  178.1 #52 9:26PM
Hmm i wish there are something exclusive to a park. Its should have been different. Toy story land? Because it is only avail in Paris and Hong Kong - otilegna  2692.3 #54 9:55PM
I agree with you! When I went to WDW for the first time in Jan it was really fun to see different things that DL has. I know some of the things DL and WDW had was still kewl but it wasn't the same enjoyment. - lakerck  165.1 #55 1:01PM
same here, the reason why I went to WDW last Nov2011 (my first trip btw) was to celebrate my birthday and to experience other attractions that is not available to Disneyland. Thats why i skip most of Magic Kingdom because the concept is the same as Disneyland - otilegna  2692.3 #54 1:12PM
I agree. I love being in WDW and enjoying it for what it is. Sure,I would love to see the differences of DL and what it has to offer..but if it has the same things then that's no fun. Also,I don't think it's necessary to have the same exact rides here at WDW than at DL because then wdw isn't unique. I like that it's unique and has its differences and I appreciate the park for what it is - mickeynme  178.1 #52 5:39PM
*because then wdw wouldn't be unique. Typo.lol - mickeynme  178.1 #52 5:42PM
No no no no NOOOO!!!!! Go away Carsland, Indy adventure, WoC and any other dl rides that they aren't already making, these things are all AMAZING! But... THEY NEED TO STAY IN DL! We need original stuff not copies, space mountain, Everest, Kali river rapids, killamanjaro safari, test track, mission space, all ORIGINAL, to wdw even though space mountain went to the other later it's still original and true grizzly river run is similar to Kali river rapids, and radiator springs racers is similar to test track, still, and splash mountain and BTMRR are mostly original. So everything, stay where it is! Or make something new Disney... (toy story land, well it's already in I think hong kong but it would be nice in the us or maybe muppet studios!) True its sort of expensive to go to dl but having original stuff makes it more fun to go there. Sorry for the rant just really not happy about this - nodell111  166.4 #54 3:01PM
I agree. I would love to see WoC at WDW but I think other things don't necessarily have to be copied from DL. Like I don't think we need a carsland...just something at WDW that has something to do with the movie would be fine (AoA does so that's good). I would love to see more originals too. While I can't necessarily go to DL anytime soon,I don't really miss those attractions at WDW because I appreciate it for what it is. It's unique and that's why I love it. I wouldn't want it to have the same things as DL - mickeynme  178.1 #52 5:35PM
DW is "our" park (closest to us), so it's nice to see things added, even if they are dups from DL.  It is nice, however, to be able to visit DL (hopefully next year for us, first time) to see things we've never seen at DW (i.e., Carsland, for example).  I'm just thankful I get to see Disney at all... and, 2 years in a row for us is just unheard of.  SOOO THANKFUL!!  :) - mrsincredible  1316.0 #4 5:34PM
Hi Mrs. I!! How are u? I've missed u and your fabulous sense of humor! Lol:D - mickeynme  178.1 #52 5:41PM
Thank you!! I have missed you guys, too!! Feels great to be able to check in and hang out for a while. I was going through some major MW withdrawls!! :) - mrsincredible  1316.0 #4 5:57PM
I can imagine! I get those busy moments too where i really miss it here! - mickeynme  178.1 #52 10:29PM
Wdw is also our park but personally now I feel like I'm starting to like dl a little bit more, however if they do do these expansions they might consider removing some other rides that don't really need to be removed like if Indy adventure came the might(or the might not) consider removing the stunt show or if Carsland came they could either just expand or remove something big - nodell111  166.4 #54 6:38AM
Come on guysssssss who cares! Disneyworld will always be exclusive because of the four parks!! - Boardwalkgirl  58.9 #98 7:23AM
I had no idea wdw was getting the Indy adventure. But I have to agree as cool as cars land seems I really wanted to see dw get something original. I've never been to dl but at this rate ill have no reason to go. - Schramke  680.9 #12 8:37PM
Oh Indy adventure coming here was a rumor back in 99. All ways the same. Out with Epic, in with Adventure. Then in 2002, I think, it switched to having it in Adventureland. When Pirates had its big change, "oh they don't want to pull the focus away from POTC now".. Seems every so often it comes back...ta da...here we are again - IndyandMarion  1278.9 #5 8:46PM
I agree. There should be differences. That's what makes visiting the different places special. - goofygal  11474.0 #7 8:41PM
U really think World of Color will be coming to WDW? - mickeynme  178.1 #52 8:57PM
I'll give it the benefit of at least another two years, five tops. - IndyandMarion  1278.9 #5 9:00PM
Really? Sounds like a good thing, but you're right...i would love to see some original ideas like they did at the beginning. It's a shame everything seems to be copied from somewhere else - mickeynme  178.1 #52 9:12PM
Yeah. I mean i'd like that to replace our joke of a Fantasmic. Seriously, DisneyLand and Tokyo's versions blows ours out of the water. But when you look at it, DL's opened in 1992. WDWs in 1998 and Tokyo's in 2011. So with the success of WoC, it'll be here in that time period I posted earlier. - IndyandMarion  1278.9 #5 8:21AM
Oh wow..interesting..i'd love to see it since i won't have the chance to go to the DL side anytime soon. I guess it's a good thing. Just would like to see them come out with some new original ideas too. I guess if they see something is popular at one park, they figure y not bring it to the other parks? Can't blame them really in terms of making money and maintaining guest satisfaction. I just think that some new ideas would be great too. Thanks for the info - mickeynme  178.1 #52 12:23PM
I love your version of fantasmic as well (but between DLand and WDW, i prefer DLAnd!) - otilegna  2692.3 #54 1:19PM
But i see world of color as disneylands own fantasmic soooooo.... - Boardwalkgirl  58.9 #98 9:34PM
I agree. It would give people more reason to visit both parks. - MomWithAJuiceBoxBuzz  1190.9 #153 9:59PM
Well. It is probably because people can't afford to go see the Mecca of Disney. They want everyone to experience the rides. I don't know but I won't be mad when I'm enjoying the rides. ( if its not too scarey or too fast ) Sorry Indy. - 5disneylovers  1158.8 #6 4:17AM
What park are they planning to put Indy in? Will either replace something WDW already features? - CollegeDisneyKnowledgeGrad  1405.0 #3 4:28AM
The long standing rumor is the stunt show will be replaced but I highly doubt that. With all of the construction they'd have to do to move not just the area, but the tram lanes, cast costuming and a few other things that I won't mention on here, it seems they'd spend more money getting the area ready than the price tag of the ride itself. - IndyandMarion  1278.9 #5 7:55AM
I totally agree with Indy! All we seem to be getting at Disney world is carbon copy's! I wanted to go to Disneyland but seems almost pointless since they are bringing all the attractions here! - jkigos  15.1 #203 6:20AM
I am sorry to say that i think it is great news. Sure I still want to see the original park one day but putting something new here is fantastic for all that can't afford to travel to California. - Pooh147856  360.6 #24 10:22AM
Answer: April 7th, 2006 saw the grand opening of this attraction that was not based on an existing franchise. - IndyandMarion  1278.9 #5 10:35AM
Wow I can't believe Everest was the last really original thing that's sad :( - nodell111  166.4 #54 2:45PM
A version of WoC is coming to DAK. - dlmickeymouseCM  2405.6 #66 12:25PM
HAha, they might put it in front of Cinderella Castle (the same as Disney Dreams of Disneyland Paris) - otilegna  2692.3 #54 1:17PM
Oh those pesky bus drivers. Where in the blazes did you hear this one from? - IndyandMarion  1278.9 #5 2:56PM
Pesky bus drivers? Lol - mickeynme  178.1 #52 10:29PM
Multiple places. To draw crowds when Avatar opens. It's just a possibility though, they're looking at the lake in front of Everest. Unfortunately, while it would be a good replacement of Illuminations, Siemens won't do it. - dlmickeymouseCM  2405.6 #66 11:12PM
I might not be a fan of Carsland but I think the kids will love it. My nephew is already talking about it and his excitement is part of the Disney experience. Then for that reason alone I welcome something new to Disney - athica  12.9 #220 12:58PM
Hear hear!! As a SoCal native, I would much prefer the two coasts be different. I need a reason to go to WDW(well, not really). I enjoy the things out there I can't get here. - Shunasee  182.6 #2255 3:50PM
Honestly, if we're going to get something. Ditch CARSLAND. And bring back the all ready planned, but scrapped, MuppetStudios. Just do it. I might not be crazy about the Muppets, but I'll be if that wasn't one of the greatest ideas to come since the Dole Whip. - IndyandMarion  1278.9 #5 6:16PM
I *do* like the Muppets!!! :) - mrsincredible  1316.0 #4 6:28PM
Me too me too! Yay for the muppets!! :D - mickeynme  178.1 #52 10:29PM
I'm from California, and I just research days to fly out that are inexpensive. Granted I have two tickets to pay for, but bookit.com had a deal where I payed 1100 for 5-day park at wdw and 2-day at universal. That also included the flight and hotel. It took forever to find the right deal, but well worth it - jackskellington34  22.0 #163 8:36PM
if cars Land will be available at WDW, i hope Main Street electrical parade, a cool looking Star Wars area, an amphitheater seating for fantasmic, and PEOPLE mover will be available here in Disneyland  - otilegna  2692.3 #54 11:01PM
People mover I don't see happening. Fantasmic will depend on how wdw's seatin update works. Not enough room for a Star Wars area (all though rumored fr WDW). MSEP, errr you DLers can blame your entertainment department because apparently they aren't in a hurry to have it back.ill talk to my brother in law about it. - IndyandMarion  1278.9 #5 6:09AM
I also don't see the people mover, after rocket rods I really don't see them using that track again sadly and also I don't want you guys getting MSEP 😜 sorry I like it to much to give it back to dl - nodell111  166.4 #54 6:40AM
I am from southern California and was at WDW last week. We were really surprised how different the rides were in Florida compared to the same ones in California. (space mountain, buzz light year, pirates, small world and haunted mansion to name a few) Perhaps the new Carsland will be similar but not the same. It certainly wouldn't make me love Disney any less! - MicheyMouse  359.4 #661 7:11AM

So from the looks of it, there is not even one app made for those of us on android. You know there are millions of people who do not own iPhones. Its kind of rediculous these days not to offer an android version of apps. Would love to help this site grow by donating, but I see no point in that when there appears to be no intrest by the app builders here to support android. I mean how about atleast a partialy functional app so we can feel that the android users are even wanted as a part of the mousewait community. I see lots of requests and sad posts about no android, but dont see any replys by the site to the fact that anyone is even working on it.I've checked back here every so offten to see if there is anything for android users, but never bothered joining until today.I just wanted to rant a little, and now I am done.Unfortunalty, at this point I think I am officaily giving up on mousewait. Thanks for reading  and understanding my frustrations ( i hope ) and please everyone........Have a Disney-tastic day!Mark - molney14u  0.0 #127124 11:05AM
I have an iPhone and an old droid. I use the old droid for wait times when my iPhone can't connect and it works fine. There's so many droid phones to have  separate apps for but I hope android makers would start using the basic same code and security but I'm probably wishing on a star for that . I miss my droid but a lot of apps don't work the same.  - secretagentangel  5753.2 #21 8:10PM
