Good morning all!!! I need some help from my fellow MW parents...before I lose my mind, WHAT do you do for a teething child!??! Madden never fussed but Kate is screaming. I've tried orajel and she hates it ( also doesn't work) What does this mommy do???*+.*+.*+.
Have you tried the teething tablets? My son loved them, they are suppose to help with the inflammation. I also give the frozen tethers or a cold wet washcloths, he loves chewing on those. Hope your little one feels better soon. - txdisneymomma

At 33 yrs old, I have been having tooth pain myself. And tylonel worked best for me. Anyway, my 2 yr old is going thru the same thing. He just got his "eyeteeth" in. He actually ran a fever! He hates everything frozen too, including orajel. He did however, loved it when I fed him cold applesauce and yogurt. U may want to try freezing some of those gogurts and let them thaw a little. Go to Disney w...oh....um. I've had a few teethers in the studio lately. Aside from the usual teething rings, frozen washcloths help as well - IndyandMarion

The only thing I can think of is a frozen teething ring or maybe a washcloth. Maybe infant motrin may help reduce inflammation. - Jalex239

Seems everyone has great suggestion. So I won't repeat. Teething It's a necessary evil. Just hold her and do any and everything she wants pray it does last long. Sometimes nothing works. Sorry baby Kate. - 5disneylovers

Tylenol always helped my little one and she always got 2 teeth at a time. A little yagger on the gums works well too but I only did it a few times when she couldn't sleep. - girlonfire

This is what I did for my son ---frozen orange slices ---but have the wet ones nearby and ready can be sticky but worked wonders for him - firestorm64rt

When necessary we used tylenol, mostly at night so our girls could sleep comfy. Other than that we used orajel or icey things. - DizneyGirl

We're same as disneygirl, Orajel works well for us, sorry Kate won't take to it. Ours is getting his eye teeth now. Runny nose, extra fussy and drop in appetite. Teething tablets didnt work for us but others swear by them. Tylenol for good night sleep, that's best for all. You can also try applying Orajel while she's asleep - timonT

aww, poor sweet girl! I know that is super painful! I always used Tylenol or Motrin for the pain, and cold things or orajel for the discomfort. GOOD LUCK! Pixie Dust!!! - ncjal
