For our trip I set up an online bank account (ING) and set up weekly deposits from our regular checking account. I started when my daughter was a baby with $20 a week, we are leaving next Saturday on her 4th birthday. As soon as this trip is over we start saving for next trip in 3 years, when our son will be 4. Happy saving! ;) - txdisneymomma

I have recently been doing rebates, selling aliminum soda cans to the local recycling place, using coupons, etc. and any of the money I make off that stuff goes into our Disney Jug! You can also only spend dollars at the store, and put any of the "change" into a jug....loose change adds up QUICKLY!!! - ncjal

We save change, I have money go from
My primary checking into a secondary checking I only use for Christmas and vacation once a month but you can do it weekly if you want, we recycle aluminum cans and that goes into account also. We also use birthdays and holidays to request Disney gift cards as gifts. This help alot. Happy saving - mmddgp

I to have a separate bank account. I work full time and 250 every two weeks goes into the trip fund. Every two years we go! It usually takes about two years to get what I need.. Also we have to travel school vacation - we are teachers. If we go in the summer it is cheaper! Works for us - worth every penny saved! - timon

I have a small percentage from every paycheck deposited into two savings accounts. One I am really good at forgetting about, the other I use for anything extra (like WDW vacations!) or unexpected. It really adds up fast! - CollegeDisneyKnowledgeGrad

I buy Disney gift cards throughout the months up until our vacation, and use them as my spending money. No worries about breaking the bank, or charging up the credit cards. - PixieDust76
