#NEWS - ***WDW ANNOUNCEMENT*** Attention everyone! "Festival of The Lion King" at Disney's Animal Kingdom, will begin a long hiatus starting on Tuesday, January 1st, 2013. The last day to see the show will be on Monday, December 31st, 2012! The show WILL be returning at some point (most likely sometime in late 2013), however, it will be relocated to the Africa section of DAK. The reason for this, is that Camp Minnie-Mickey will be closing on January 1st, 2013 as well, to begin work on Avatar Land.

I am not sure I am digging this one. We visited my brother the other day. He had the DVD playing, so we decided to watch it again (had seen it in theaters with the hubs). We ended up having to turn it off after a few minutes because of the cussing because the kids were in the room (4 of them all under 10). Alright guys, check it out. I know not many people are too fond of the Avatar idea, but Disney has big plans for it. I can't say what's happening, but it could be alright. Worst case, they change it to Beastly Kingdom in a few years by simply retheming it. - dlmickeymouseCM  2350.4 #27 9:43AM

Oh no....not avatar-land...ughhh..i prefer camp minnie-mickey over that. Even if it turns out ok,it's still not really that family-friendly and "disney-ish" I dont care how good it turns out to be,i'm not going near there.
